The text is easy to read and uses language that is easily translated to all readers. If used in the classroom setting I would read this book and a book about beavers to my students. I feel as though the two animals could be easily confused and the clarification could lead to a great discussion on similarities and differences between the two. I think this would also be a great book to introduce different vocabulary words, as tier two words are included in the back of the book.

This was a good, solid book about otters. The information was easy for young readers and listeners to understand, and the illustrations were very well done.
