The title of my book was Camp confidential: Best boyfriend ever. The author of this book is Melissa J. Morgan. This story is about Priya and Jordan being best friends outside of camp, and in, they do everything together, go swimming, look for insects and all the boy things they both like to do. But, when they get to camp Priya seems to think Jordan has changed, because he said the “k-word” (kissing) that he has never said before, to Priya. Priya tries to figure out if he wants to kiss her or he just was talking about it normally. By her thinking ahead she ruins their friendship, and it’s really awkward between them. Jordan tells Priya that the whole camp is going to Washington DC and they are having partners and that Jordan “shottys” her, Priya. Then all her bunkmates think that Jordan has a crush on Priya and wants to go to the dance in DC with her, but Priya denies it. After that, she confronts him and says “do you like me?” He answers no, he likes Brynn, one of Priyas bunkmates, which made Priya feel relived, but sad, she didn’t know why it made her sad, because she didn’t like him. At the end she finds out she likes him, and he likes her, and turns out, Brynn doesn’t like Jordan that way, anyways, so it all works out perfect. I thought this book was okay, it was kind of childish for me, but over all it was interesting.

THE BEST BOOK IN THIS SERIES!! (so far...)

This book is about two childhood friends who do pratically everything toether until one day the boy, Jordan, drops a hint letting Priya know that he is interested in girls. With Priya suddenly hearing his interests in girls, his constant staring, and a change in overnight looks; her bunkmates suddenly assume that he's got the hots for her. And with Priya thinking that Jordan likes her, her head goes crazy thinking of what could happen between them, but little does she know he's actually interested in her friend, Brynn. But when her jealousy gets in the way it's unhappiness for all three campers.

To be honest, the book was okay. I was disappointed because in the end, I think Priya and Jordan still didn't get in touch with what was going on between them. I liked the author's way of writing, though. But in this book, I guess it highlights that thing where you can just be friends-- and that's FRIENDZONING.

This has many things that are problematic. One, it’s the second book that had a girl put on a ton of makeup to try and get a boy’s attention (as well as the makeover being the first time the other girls said they were pretty). Two, it felt like it was thrown together because the ending had a throw away character like Priya the whole time? Three, the previous book mirrored this one: Sarah said she didn’t like a boy because she knew another friend liked the same guy, and Brynn did the same thing in this book. Recycle much? ♻️ there are more but I digress.

I appreciate the topic of periods in this book for being genuine and realistic, which is why I gave it two stars instead of one.

It is definitely one of the weakest books so far in the series even though I do like Priya as a character.

This is the first book of the series I've ever read. Thank you Monica J. Morgan for such a good read! Let me tell you: Camp Confidential is one of the best books I've ever read. I'd reccommend it to anyone 11 and older. I really admired the story and I just want to read all of the books in the entire series at once......even though I know I shouldn't

This book I disliked the most. I thought that there could be more stuff happening at the end of the book. I thought that overall it was a little over the edge. I also thought that it was cool there was a second summer. I remember most of the bunkmates from the last summer. i hope that the next one in the series is good!! :)

This is such a fun series for me to read in between my more substantive YA literature. I didn't connect as much with the characters or story of Jordan and Priya, but I did like the message: boyfriends are okay, but every girl needs her girlfriends!

Read this when I was still in high school. It was okay. Intended really for teens. Though, I was still considered 'young' when I read this, it's too childish for me. Didn't expect the story's gonna be like 'that' when I read the synopsis. But oh well, it's okay, not that bad. Not just for me. Heh.

The romantic is me was hoping that this book would end differently. The author does a good job of getting inside the heads of preteens who are navigating through that confusing world of boy/girl relationships. All the awkwardness and emotion.
