Pittsburgh-based Mike Shuck is not only a fifth grade teacher at Fred L. Aiken Elementary School, but also the author of Numbers Elementary: Rounding.

Not the usual boring math book, Shuck combines mathematical concepts and moral points, giving kids the opportunity of being taught math skills while picking up some of life's valuable lessons. It's an ideal book for both individual elementary-school age children and a classroom aid.
