For those of you that know me... and those that don't this is my little statement about short books.... I do not judge short stories on the rush of their relationships, because they are just that - short stories. So, yes the relationships always could have been drawn out more, yea it seems like they fall in love to fast and of course the story could have been made longer... but it is a short story. So with that said.... here is my review...

Nadia was dumped by her finance, Thomas, two months ago. Apparently he was a Mama's boy because his parents did not think Nadia was good enough for him; so, he called off the engagement. What a weak man!! But that's okay.... that is what best friends are for ~ right? Elisheba is Nadia's best friend and she will be there for her!

This is the banter I love between those two:

"No, I ignored it. I'm not ready to deal with a man yet." "Then you should be with a woman." I choked on my tequila shot. My eyes watered as it burned down my throat.
When I stopped coughing, she asked, "What is so funny?" "I'm straight. In other words: I heart cock." It was her turn to choke on her drink. "I'm going to have that put on a T-shirt for you, and I'm going to force you to wear it."

These two are great together. They made me giggle and made me awwwww. But does Elisheba wants to really be there for Nadia... Will Nadia cross that line?

This is a super short read (under 10 pages) - really short. Btu a really hot little story. Ms. Ravena gave me enough in this story to satisfy the hussy in me and to satisfy my need for a HRN (happy right now)!

But this story does make you think.....

We all have girl crushes - whether you want to admit it or not. It is okay if you don't want to, I won't force you too. No one will judge you though. And your crushes do not have to be sexually related. Admiration in a person, loving what they stand for, their honor, their integrity - whatever it is - is a form of a crush..... but........

Now are you ready for this... Have you looked at a woman and noticed her curves, her fingers, her hair... her lips, her eyes, her cheeks blushing... her ass or her breast.... You have noticed... How could not... It is human nature.

But what happens when she stares back at you? You can see the lust in her eyes, her lips part, her eyes grow a little bolder.... while staring at you.

Would you ever cross the line? What about girls nights out... a little liquid courage? Would you do or say something you normally would not do??

Strapless was a very sexy short read. In just under ten pages, the author had you panting. Despite the shortness I was definitely left fulfilled, and wanting more. This did have a common story thread; woman frustrated – friend offers to relieve the tension. The only difference with this was that the friend was a woman.

There is just something so incredibly beautiful and sensual about reading two women together sexually. There is just this knowledge that they automatically know how to please each other. They understand the other’s wants and needs.

I have two small complaints about the short story. The first, I got stuck on one of the character’s name. Elisheba. I did some quick research, and it does fit the character as she is Israeli, but my brain kept stumbling over it and made it difficult to concentrate on the story. My second concern was how quickly Nadia (a supposed straight girl) jumped into bed with her friend Elisheba (a bisexual babe). This was explained away as a result of the five tequila shots that Nadia had done.

I am definitely on the look out for more by this author. She has a wonderful writing style that just makes me want to devour more! This is absolutely a recommended read.

Hot but seemingly mindless sex between two characters with barbie-doll figures and painful wax jobs. This short story has its moments, but there's no reason to care about the characters--and no plot beyond "I'll-turn-bi-for-you-because-my-spineless-fiancé-broke-up-with-me."

This was a fantastic read. Hot, hot, hot, smoking hot. For those, like me, who enjoy a spicy F/F tale, this is a must read.

Short f/f loving story. Likable characters. What is supposed to help Nadia get over a broken heart may mean more to her than her friend wants. Good sex.
