Rate this book
The end of the story in the hugely popular game The Force Unleashed left the Star Wars galaxy poised at the brink of civil war. But before that can happen, the Emperor and his apprentice, Darth Vader, have another plan already in play. The author of the original game, Haden Blackman, returns with a new story of treachery, deception, and the manipulation of the overwhelming power of the Force. Enjoyed the second installment of the Force Unleashed series. Glad to see Juno again. Nice to see the other characters as well.

Can't wait to read more Star Wars comics!!!!

Using Boba Fett's POV in this adaptation was an interesting attempt to hide how thin the main plot seems to be in the video game. Even then, this volume is noticeably thinner than the previous one. Sean Williams did a much better job of padding things out in the corresponding novel, by giving Juno more to do than simply being a damsel in distress. And ugh...I'm not sold on the portrayal of Boba Fett in this adaptation.

After having seen all the Star Wars series, my expectations are really high for any and all Star Wars content. Sadly, this didn’t live upto the glory. The universe explored in such detail in the series is what makes Star Wars so intriguing to me. This was okay. Didn’t give me much. Not a fan of story arc’s in this universe where the main contention for the plot is a love interest type situation.

38:21 Has the news of the litigants ever reached you, when they climbed over the wall into the sanctuary? Thus they burst in upon David so he was startled by them. They said: “Don’t be afraid: [We are] two litigants, one of whom has injured the other; so judge correctly between us and do not act too stern. Guide us along the Level Road.
“This is my brother; he has ninety-nine ewes while I have but a single ewe. He has said: “He has wronged you by asking for your ewe to be added to his own ewes. Many partners try to take advantage of one another, except for those who believe and perform honorable deeds. Such are few indeed.” David suspected that We were merely testing him, so he sought forgiveness from his Lord and dropped down on his knees and repented.

Better than the first volume, mostly because it actually tried doing something unique in "retelling" the game's story. I guess that's not really accurate because the comic is following Boba Fett who is either seeing the aftermath of the Starkiller clone's missions or briefly viewing them from afar. I actually liked that, especially as the game made the same mistake as the Original Trilogy and made Boba a glorified extra. Here though we get to see Boba in action and have a mini character arc with development to his personality.

Still annoying this ends on the same cliffhanger as the game's.

So much better than the book and different than I remember (I gave the book a 1 star). Yes he still is a clone, but this time Vader hires Boba Fett to track him down and bring him back. The art work I thought was great. There is little dialog, but it seemed like a lot of action. There were a few missing parts it seems like in the story.

But still lame is the ending where they have Vader in hand cuffs and being taken away...hmmm not happening rebels. Unless its part of his plan to get in there and kick butt. But we will never know since there was not a 3rd one made...

Like the game it is based on it was very short. I didn't like that for some reason they chose to follow Boba Fett instead of Starkiller and tell the story through Boba Fetts eyes. That being said they wrote Boba Fett very well, it's good to see a story where they have Boba Fett being a badass.

The art was also terrific, overall very good but its more of a supplement to the story than the story itself.

Con un final que deja la trama resulta pero de forma demasiado abrupta, lo mejor de esta historia no es que sea la continuación de la primera parte, sino la presencia de Boba Fett y de la relación de este con Vader.

A bit predictable and I felt the portrayal of Vader was really off. It didn’t feel like the same character we are all familiar with.

Makes me want to re-read the two hardcovers I have based on a game.

My major take away from this is... Bobba Fett has a heart.

Read to know why!

This opens with Boba Fett not wearing his helmet and on a date. It does not get better. His date is kind of cute though...

Having not played TFU2 I have no idea where this fits with that story. Basically the art was fine and the plot reasonably entertaining (although even if this was a short GN I'm sure they could have beefed it up a bit plotwise). However where it totally lost me was in the last 4 pages where one of the main characters suffers an unfortunate incident which seems to be totally reversed at the turn of the page without explanation. It may be an art fault but the fact no dialogue balloon or caption was stuck in to even attempt to explain it shows a lack of interest on the editors part.

Not recommended.

I haven't played the game, but whereas in the first one I thought I was able to pick where the boss battles would be, it is blatantly obvious where they are here, and they waste far too much time on them. The storyline is quite good though, and should be fleshed out with more detail.

Eh... definitely better art than the first book, but very blah and predictable story. The whole story is just an excuse for the writer to go crazy with Boba Fett... the actual main characters are treated as secondary ones throughout the whole book. I know Boba has a lot of fans but, to me, aside from the "cool" factor, there is not much on that character to capture one's attention for the whole story.

Skip it, unless you're a hardcore Boba fan.

I think they biggest problem I have with these Force Unleashed and Old Republic comics is that I don't know a damn thing about the video games. Just being a Star Wars fan isn't enough in this case. You have to know the stories of the games to really get what's happening in the comics.

Nice artwork, though.

This is pretty cool, I enjoyed reading it even though I don't normally read graphic novels, it was neat to read. Very well done. I love all the pictures, and the story plot was very captivating, I couldn't put it down, lol

A pretty good look into Boba Fett's head...Which is funny when he's not on the cover at all and is clearly the main character of this comic...

Sadly there isn't much actual subsistence to the comic.

Good addition to the 2 page story that was The Force Unleashed 2 game. Seriously, why didn't they finish the story at all? Not been this disappointed since Knights of the Old Republic 2: The Sith Lords.

Another one from a Fett bounty hunter; I'm not familiar with the game storyline but I still appreciated the average attempt of portraying an interesting point of view. I disliked the space jump, simply unrealistic. Also, I had no idea the Fetts were such man sluts! Hurray!

Is starkiller dead or alive? This story line was kind of strange but it did reveal that Boba fett actually has a heart. The real reason why I gave this book three stars is because of the art work. It was absolutely amazing. The creature screen was nice as well.

Such trash. Attempts to make a story out of the mess that was the first game, but most importantly wants desperately to include Boba Fett. I don't think I've ever seen him written so poorly. I hated this, one of the worst Star Wars expanded universe things I've read.

Very good read...with a very bizzare ending...wow...something very strange happened at the end of this book with Darth Vader...my question is how did he do that?
