Great little book on missions by Dr. Charles Keen. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Keen & hearing him speak on more than one occasion. The book, like I was in person, challenged me to rethink or actually begin to about reaching the “world.” Development of a true strategy for our church mission program is lacking.
He hammered the idea of being a worldview Christian. We build the local church to reach the world: every nation, tribe, tongue, & kindred. The unreached people groups need to be reached also.
In the appendix, there is a resource list of mission books & websites. At this date the book is 16 years old, so some of the websites could be gone. But this was a great addition for those like myself looking to expand their missions knowledge base. I’d recommend this quick read.
