Frances Myllar is a beautiful, intelligent, and rich prisoner of her family. She and her three siblings are guarded around the clock. From her hospital bed she makes decisions and sets in motion events that will free her from her family and her cold husband. Frances cannot know these decisions will also give her the opportunity for worldwide fame and executive responsibility.

DNF @ 49%.

I tried to push through this one, but the journal entry style and the sheer dullness of the content did nothing to help.

The entire thing is told (typical of journal entry style writing) which removes the reader from the action. The content in parts is interesting, talking about near future events including political and environmental, but so little is shared about it, it’s like a passing glance only.

Unless you enjoy dull reading, I’d avoid this one. The ‘erotic’ content is glazed over also. At least what is present in the first half.
