I was hoping for more bear photos. The text is well done, with descriptions and lots of info.

Ça longtemps été le panda, mais depuis un certain temps déjà, c'est l'ours polaire qui me fascine.

Plus un récit des nombreux voyages de l'auteur dans le Grand Nord qu'une encyclopédie sur l'ursus maritimus, ce livre en n'est pas moins intéressant. Les photos sont magnifiques. On peut observer les ours, ainsi que les autres espèces qui partagent son territoire, telles que le renard arctique ou le morse par exemple. Mais on aura droit aussi à des paysages à couper le souffle, sans oublier les majestueuses aurores boréales. Les textes nous informent tout de même sur de nombreux comportements de ce plantigrade, sur son régime alimentaire, ainsi que sur la flore qui l'entoure. Il nous renseignera également sur les dangers qui menacent les ours polaires et bien que nous les connaissons déjà, j'ai aimé qu'on nous dise ce que nous pouvons faire pour ne pas leur nuire et les aider.
