This Fact Finders series is a nice additional resource to go along with your student's science book chapters covering anatomy. Very interesting, and filled memorable information about organs and organ systems. Intersting Fact Example: If your liver stopped working, you would die in about 24 hours. But even if 75% of your liver is removed, you would be able to survive. The liver can regrow liver cells over time. Crazy! The illustrations are also very clear and detailed.

The last one in the series this book deals in depth with the human organs, heart, kidneys, skin, liver, appendix, intestines and other various gruesome bits and bobs.
All explained in a wealth of detail with the squishy bits left in to appeal to the more gory kid.
A great and informative series.
