I really enjoyed this book. I checked it out from the library so I was reading it like a regular book, but it has so much information and depth to it. I learned so much about the bible and myself from reading it. Michelle starts each thought with a bible verse and later explains it. There are also little questions and a reflection for each verse. Since I had to return the book back to the library I didn't get to experience the whole essence of the devotion, but they were still great. Sometimes she even went through multiple verses of scripture in sequence so it felt like a bible study guide. I personally enjoyed that because it allowed me to see different interpretations of scripture and then I would read the passage for myself to see if anything else struck out. I would recommend this book especially for the young woman who are struggling with their walk with God. It's heavy and deep, but I feel like anyone can walk away with something new after reading it.

Single-Minded Devotion encourages you to embrace this time in your life, answer God's call, & experience genuine joy as you live purposefully & discover new passion for the Lover of your soul - from back cover.

I really enjoy these short devotions which help to focus your heart & life at the start of each day encouraging us in our walk of the single life. These thoughts will be appreciated by Christian single females, from teenagers upwards, looking to find purpose & focus for this season of life. Michelle's chatty style makes you feel as though she is there as your friend talking to you, an approach I warm to.
