This is a revised and expanded edition of Weldon Hardenbrook's provocative book on the crisis of men in modern western society, whom he sees as having become feminized largely through the abandonment of their traditional roles in society.
In Part I Hardenbrook clearly elaborates the problem, in Part II he masterfully traces its causes, and in Part III provides a rollercoaster of alternately good and mediocre solutions. Part II especially is paradigm-shifting must-read material for every man, and women will also greatly benefit. I cannot recommend it too highly.
I have, however, removed one star for Part III. His Orthodox perspective is sometimes helpful in offering a cure, but in places he too quickly dismisses the theological contributions of Protestantism in favor not always of scripture, but of older tradition.
