A good read anytime before the big 5-0... In fact, 50 is probably way too late to be reading this book

Hard to beat the wisdom of Larry Burkett and Ron Blue as they apply Biblical principles for how to manage finances as we get older. Well written and sound advice overall from two trusted authors that I respect and admire

You can't get real excited about these types of books (at least I can't), but you aren't really expecting to either! The advice was mostly common sense (with biblical reinforcing), but it was laid out in a straight-forward, logical fashion.

The best parts of this book are the various check sheets or forms that they have included to help you discover where you need to be or go ... very helpful.

If you are nearing the 50 or older age group, this book is a good tool to help you decide if you really were as smart as you thought you were ... financially ... and then point you to where you need to be.
