Spirits of the Great Hill: More Haunted Sites and Ancient Mysteries of Upstate New York

Rate this book
This sequel to Shadows of the Western Door poses some facinating questions: Does a historic curse linger over the Niagara Frontier? Is a mystical treasure, a spiritual energy force, buried somewhere in the local landscape? Was Buffalo set up and designed by occult societies? Leave it to Mason Winfield to lead us on yet another journey to mystery places, haunted sites and hidden -sometimes forbidden - historical legacies. Anyone seeking the mysterious underside of our region, including dozens of good old-fashioned ghosts, need look no further.

Another great collection of tales, this time focusing more on the Upstate area, around Syracuse and Utica. There are some fascinating stories in here- this is a great book to use as inspiration for a road trip!
