History of Western Art

Rate this book
This 360-page paperback was published in 1977 by Thames & Hudson. This book has writing & highlighting scattered in first 59 pages. Pages fall open to page 161, but binding still holding well. The cover looks nice, while it has general shelving wear on face and along edges. Overall, a nice, usable paperback volume. See our 2 photos of this book.

As a literature student, not an art historian,I disagree with some of his more brief social statements about art as a medium of expression. But this was an interesting whirlwind tour of western art and I definitely learnt a lot!
