In a land of orcs, elves, dwarves, halflings and humans, an evil force has taken hold. As the evil Urcin gains power through out Arida, he begins drawing the followers of Arden to him and away from the goodness of Arden, the creator.

Preston Davis finds himself in the land of his creation after being hit by a speeding car in the streets of Boston. It is then, that he finds that all is not as it should be in the land of Arida, a place that was meant for the inhabitants to live in peace. Yet peace was not to be found in a place that was on the brink of war. It’s up to Preston, aka Arden, the land’s creator, to set things right. The question is, can he do it in time?

“One Hero, A Savior” is a well-written, fast-paced story where the author takes our imagination into a colorful fantasy realm, in the style of Tolkien. Fitch artfully builds the hero’s relationships with the characters, interweaving Davis’s motivation to save his beloved halflings with a strength rooted in the characters faith – Davis’s in God and the halflings faith in their Arden.

I found “One Hero, A Savior” an excellent fantasy read and recommend it, especially for those looking for a Christian-based fantasy genre story.
