Dinosaur Bob

Baseball Bob

Rate this book
The Lazardos are playing baseball in their backyard when Dinosaur Bob's exceptional skills are spotted by some members of the Pimlico Pirates, the worst team in history. The next thing you know Bob's been recruited, and the big green rookie is playing right and left field, rounding the bases in three strides and leading the hometown team to victory, their first ever! Newsweek listed William Joyce as one of the 100 people to watch in the new millenium and The New York Times calls Dinosaur Bob the most adorable of dinos. This board book, the third in a series based on episodes from the original book, includes new artwork and new toddler-friendly text.

William Joyce does a lot of stuff—films, apps, Olympic curling—but children’s books are his true bailiwick (The Numberlys, The Man in the Moon, Nicholas St. North and the Battle of the Nightmare King, Toothiana, and the #1 New York Times bestselling The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore, which is also an Academy Award–winning short film, to name a few). He lives with his family in Shreveport, Louisiana.

This is a board book, other editions are much longer and tell a more robust story, pictures are good, but for the enjoyment, go for a larger version with the entire text!
