I read through the bible using a two year, chronological reading schedule, and I loved it. I have tried several bible reading plans and always quit because I get too far behind. This was perfect; it was normally two chapters a day. It was my new found love for reading that convicted me to be reading my bible on a daily basis. I read all these books, christian books, but how much time was I spending in Gods word? Very convicting to me. This was a blessing in my life. I have already printed off a new schedule so I can start all over. May God bless you all during this Christmas season. Merry Christmas.

The ESV translation of God’s Word is an excellent and reliable translation, so my reason for giving 3 stars does not lie with the particular translation.

I give three stars, because I do not always find Ryrie’s commentary notes to be helpful or in theological agreement with my beliefs.

I do appreciate the format and layout of this study Bible, as well as the red-letter aspect. The concordance is fairy expansive, and the maps are of good quality.
