About the author

I live in Oxford where I work as a freelance ELT author. I joined the world of EFL just over 20 years ago beginning with a two-year stint as a teacher in Barcelona. From there I returned to the UK and worked as an EFL teacher and teacher trainer at a language school in Oxford, before making the move from teacher to writer in 2005. I have since written various titles including Students books (Move on, OUP), Workbooks (Target FCE, Richmond), Teacher’s books (Solutions, OUP) and Teacher’s Resource Books (Headway, Elementary, Pre-Intermediate and Intermediate) for the international adult market and for secondary school students in Spain and Poland. I write for a number of publishers including Oxford University Press, Macmillan Publishing and Richmond Publishing. I also write listening tests for Cambridge ESOL.
