A very useful guide even for someone who has cycled in one way or another. I read the book but will be keeping it for reference later. I enjoyed the author’s down-to-earth tone and practical advice. I realise this might not be agreeable to all types of cyclists, but the kind of cycling I enjoy is not taking myself very seriously kind, so this book is right on!
Some useful (but incredibly basic) information. The writer does a good job of making cycling seem accessible to everyone but unfortunately she sometimes achieves this by being derogatory about people who (gasp!) wear cycling jackets or other specific cycling gear. Surely there's room for all types of cyclist on the road?
