This bilingual book includes the text in English and Spanish. The story is very poetic and fantastical. The illustrations are simplistic and childish with some looking as if they have been drawn in crayon. The Spanish and English texts are distinguished with different color fonts but the font looks handwritten which may be more difficult for children to read. This would work well for children who want a bilingual book; however there are many other books that may be more helpful for that purpose.

This book is illustrated beautifully by a very talented Piet Grober. His whimsical style is present throughout the book. The poetic nature of this book is somewhat lost in the translation, but the story is very creative and dreamlike.

This is a fun story about a boy who crashes into the sky and breaks it into pieces. The book is written in both English and Spanish which is so wonderful for ELLs to read. Seeing the two languages side by side makes it easier for the student to understand word meanings.
