Como en toda antología, es inevitable que algunos relatos sean mejores que otros y este libro no es la excepción.
El que más me gustó fue Body Chemistry de Tawny Taylor; es justo lo que se espera de un relato corto: ágil, entretenido, focalizado en lo que se quiere contar, buenos personajes que abordan muy bien las escenas íntimas, además con simpáticos toques de humor. En un tono más serio también destaco Ghost of a Chance de Shiloh Walker y Past Running de Mlyn Hurn.
Los demás, la verdad.... mmm... una combinación de fantasía y ciencia ficción que no logra arrancar... tal vez solo salve algo Earthwork de Annie Windsor, sobre todo por la atmósfera oscura que logra crear.

4 stars for three of the six stories.
This book contains six short stories with erotic sex scenes. I liked it when I first read it in 2008. But when I reread it in 2017 I skimmed a lot. I think enjoyment depends on your mood.

Wow! Very good. This is a fun story which ends with hot erotic sex. CIA-type agent meets girl who is in training to be an agent. They fight something evil together.

I liked it, but would have preferred a more defined ending. Keli and Dram join forces to fight an evil group. They have witch-type powers, which exist in some humans in the year 2800. The story ends after the first battle but the evil continues. I wanted to know more about the evil group and what was going to eventually happen. There is some bondage and sadism.

Anthology - 3.8 stars average up to 4
1. Night Scream by Denise A. Agnew. An assistant at a secret agent office meets an agent who is to help them out. While he's trying to keep her out of harm's way, they're finding they are attracted to each other. This story was enjoyable. ***1/2
2. Body Chemistry by Tawny Taylor. So good!!! Loved, loved, loved this story. Geeky chemist and a co-worker. Who knew the guy was so hot? Great story. I'm planning on reading more by this author. ***** 5 stars
3. Earthwork by Annie Windsor. I couldn't get into this story and stopped reading it. No rating.
4. Ghost of a Chance by Shiloh Walker. Pretty good story, a ghost and his fiance' get a second chance for justice and love. ***
5. Past Running by Mlyn Hurn. Aeryn meets Sheriff Devlin when he comes to talk to her about an old boyfriend. They find out through adversity that they care for each other. Or at least he does. ***1/2

Annie Windsor, Shiloh Walker, whom I often like, and Jaid Black, whom I also generally like, wrote F stories for this anthology. Mlyn Hurn and Denise Agnew's stories earned D's. Tawny Taylor's was the best, and it earned a C level grade. After this EC anthology, I gave them up.

Only read 'Earthwork' by Annie Windsor - The usual D/s play, only in shortened form. I don't like heavy D/s, so I didn't like this.

I've only read "Night Scream" by Denise Agnew as part of the special Investigations Agency series. i didn't like it that much, the story is limited so there's no chance of building the characters.
