Rate this book
Laser Welding offers readers more than just a basic understanding of this new technology. Each chapter begins with the fundamentals, making them clear right from the start, and then builds the reader's knowledge using a practical, applications-oriented approach. The author devotes entire chapters to safety and quality, and also covers a wide range of other subjects, such as laser light, laser installation and operation, materials that can be laser welded, joint design requirements, and welding parameters. For anyone interested in using laser welding, this book is the most complete and up-to-date reference available on the subject.

This book was written before the dawn of fiber lasers, so the tech is out of date, but the impact on metal, and setup is still basically the same. Lots of good info on setup, testing, design and the like.
