English Zone 5

English Zone is a four-skills, six-level primary series that offers stimulating and diverse language learning experiences. As they further their fluency in English, students engage in stimulating activities that link to school curriculum areas such as mathematics, social science, natural science, health, art, drama, and language arts. Special cross-curricular Zones in each unit offer contentbased readings and task-based activities related to these subject areas. The series also directly addresses the importance of building literacy by presenting self-contained, high-interest stories at each level. Students are also introduced to a different set of characters who present language in real-life situations in meaningful and interesting ways. English Zone's comprehensive Teacher's Guide provides additional support material, techniques and activities for catering to multiple intelligences, as well as language support and strategies for building all four skills.
