This was Aidan's first taste of a Magic School Bus chapter book and he loved it. He really did learn quite a bit about insects as a result (and I learned a thing or two, too!). I am a huge fan of this series - there are so many great science lessons built in throughout. I especially love how new vocabulary or science concepts are introduced in dialogue and immediately followed by an easy-to-understand explanation. Aidan and I will definitely be seeking out more in the series when we finish our current run of books.

Bugs are so interesting. This Magic Schhol Bus books take a close look on how magical and important bugs are in our world. I would use this in a flash in connection with a lesson on bugs, bees, or insects.
