After reading every Nancy Drew, Trixie Belden, and Hardy Boys book her elementary school library had, Julie Coulter Bellon knew from a young age she wanted to write books and be a published author someday. That dream came true and she is now the author of thirty romantic suspense novels and two children's books. One nightmare that also came true was that she once tripped up the stairs going on stage to accept a book award and she thinks about that moment more often than she should.
Julie loves to travel and her favorite cities she's visited so far are probably Athens, Paris, Ottawa, and London. She is a former journalist and podcast host of Authors Off the Page. She loves to read, write, teach, watch Hawaii Five-O reruns, and eat Canadian chocolate. Not necessarily in that order.

Ashton and Doug a few days at Yellowstone were they had spent their honeymoon. The distance between them especially since their son Michael was in England for college. Jason remembered Kamal his partner and wanted revenge, they had been set up, there had been a mole. Finding out to late to stop the op. As Andrew his boss now telling Jason he knew he was selling his country out. Finding the highest bid for the information he had. Also the water he drank had been altered making him dizzy. Needing to get to the airport he encounters Ashton, could he use her car. Unknown to her he had given her the information and now her life was in jeopardy. A good fast action plot to the end.
Dr one time reading! I really like this author. Her books are good and keep me wanting to curl up in my chair and read❤️Thank you! If you are trying to decide if this book is reading, I give it two 👍
Julie is a real master of the intricate and unexpected in her plots, and I was constantly surprised by new developments all the way though. In particular, I thought by about a third of the way through that the rest of the book would consist of our hero and heroine chasing the thumb drive across Europe. Not so. And just when I thought a particular bad guy was getting pleasantly menacing and would in in the final standoff, he got killed.
The writing style is fairly simple and basic, but that's fine because I wasn't looking for high literature and because it makes it easy and accessible for all levels of reader, including young adult. It is very fast paced - sometimes so much so that I lost track. The characters are wonderful, and it was great seeing non-cliched characters - a very capable, independent and confident woman (gotta love her, especially when she lost both her son and her heartless husband in the first chapter and still comes out fighting) and an honourable non-LDS man. Even better was the genuine and compelling romance between them when they were both in their forties, or even fifties.
If you like romance novels this book doesn't disappoint. And if you like international action thrillers then this one is as uncliched and entertaining as they come and includes some really wonderful exotic locations.
After her son’s death and a divorce Aston meets Andrew, a CSIS (Canadian Security Intelligence Service) Agent. He is drugged and has no choice but to slip vital information into Ashton’s bag which inadvertently puts her life in danger. Andrew then feels responsible for Ashton and sets about trying to protect her and save the day.
This is the first book that I have read by Julie Coulter Bellon.
Although the premise for the story held promise I was sorely disappointed with the execution of the plot. I found myself frustrated with the forced feel to the story. Many times it was hard for me to believe what I was reading and impossible for me to get caught up in the story. It was rather frustrating for me.
The plot would seem to pick up and express urgency for the next thing the characters need to get done only to have them sitting around for two days. Many times I found myself bored with the exposition which was sometimes hard to follow.
It was hard to believe the relationships as they also felt forced.
This is a sequel to "On the Edge". Andrew is a secret agent. While on assignment in England, his contact gets killed in front of him. Andrew escapes with a thumb drive that has information on it about a terrorist, but he is caught and infected with a deadly disease. He gets away and has a woman named Ashton drive him to the airport. They are chased, and Andrew slips the flash drive into the woman's purse. Andrew falls ill and is taken to the hospital. Ashton comes back to the United States without knowing that she has the flash drive. I liked this book. Dylan and Elizabeth make an appearance in this book.
(Genre: LDS Fiction/suspense/romance) This was actually the first book that I read by this author and it was an enjoyable read. I can't write a detailed review of it because it has been too long since I read it and I am nervous of writing reviews for books that I have read a while back because I often forget details and then my review isn't accurate. I tend to forget details :). So if you want more on this or any of the other "non-reviewed books" on my list, you'll just need to send me a message for more specifics.
Time Will Tell is a fast-paced suspense novel of espionage which incorporates clean romance and faith. I like the role model the reader sees in Ashton. She is independent yet reliant upon her faith, confident and strong, and despite her heartbreak, still willing to open her heart to others. I recommend this for lovers of romantic suspense who prefer their romance clean. Time Will Tell is my first Julie Coulter Bellon novel but it will not be the last. No language, nor compromising scenes to be found here. Just good clean adventure, with a helping of romance on the side.
I have wondered sometimes whether the conversion of printed matter (books) into digital text causes errors, like missing words and phrases or the wrong word some place in the text. Anyway, I noticed these kinds of things at the beginning but eventually they either were not there or I quit noticing them.
The beginning of the book started off a bit slowly and a tad awkwardly but eventually hit its stride. I found some things hard to believe like taking Ashton to Turkey and other little quirky things but the story was basically a good one and I would read more by the author.
Time Will Tell is another LDS suspenseful romance from Julie Bellon. The book started out with a tragedy for Ashton and only got worse when her long-time husband walked out on her. Ashton relied on her LDS faith to get her through these tragedies. I loved the fast-paced action and the clean romance. The chemistry between Andrew and Ashton was clear from the moment they met. This is a book I want my daughters to read. Well done.
This is an LDS Suspense Romance. It does a good job of keeping you interested. Ashton is a strong character who is a great role model, and works well with Andrew. It kind of reminds me of Scarecrow and Mrs. King one of my all-time favorite TV shows. Eventhough there is a lot of action and death, it ends in a good place. Something I like:)
