Creature with the Atom Brain

Rate this book
Creature with the Atom Brain tells the story of a gangster who joins forces with a mad scientist to get even with the men who sent him to jail by using dead men revived with atom rays. The book is based on the classic 'B' movie directed by Edward L. Cahn from a screenplay by Curt Siodmak. The 1954 film is often cited as one of the inspirations for George Romero's classic Night of the Living Dead. In this novelization, we dive back into Los Angeles as it was in the early fifties, with all the sights and sounds as they would have appeared back then. Author Jim Morton spent hours poring over old newspapers to make sure the events in the book match what was happening in the world at the time. Every detail is as accurate as possible. If you have any interest in the science fiction of the 1950s, old 'B' movies, or fun film novelizations, you'll want to read this book.
