honestly the math here was a little too simplistic/easy to be comparable to the real thing, but it was helpful all the same!

This book, while extremely weak on math content, is a great resource for those who are simply looking to speed up their computation, gain additional practice solving math problems, and to gain additional insight into alternative(and usually more efficient, reliable, and effective) approaches to solving difficult math problems.

Unlike other math "tips and tricks" books, this book presents and teaches only the techniques and tricks that are applicable and will be of relevant help for the GMAT exam takers.

I can personally attest to having picked up a small treasure trove of techniques and tricks that will shave many precious seconds and minutes from difficult and time consuming math problems.

If you are looking to learn math content, then this book is not for you. Instead, try books from manhattanGMAT.

Good workbook with broad coverage of necessary math skills. Explanations to wrong answers could use some additional detail, and there are only two Data Sufficiency tests (50 questions and 30min total) at the end, which is not sufficient. Otherwise, pretty helpful!

It was relatively helpful, but there were a number of typos, including with the answer choices. At least one typo meant the correct answer wasn't listed. It made it difficult to work out some of the problems.

Success! I have now abandoned this book and am ready to move on to finer literature...

It's too basic, including exercises. Made me worried that exam questions cannot be this much simple.
