Loved by a couple of generations, now outgrown by our kid and destined for the book swop. A brief tale full of fun, drama and opportunities for silly sounds and actions. Then the fabulous ominous ending ""Just wait till I've grown" said the little crocodile. Then he slipped into the water to join his brothers and sisters."

Ours was a 1977 Picturemac edition.

My two sons both ADORE this book. We picked up a battered old library copy when my eldest child was very small. About 5 years later, it remains a favourite in our house.
