This was the first dog training book that I read, and I think that I liked it mainly because I hadn't read the others. I recommend the "terra-nova: the yorkshire terrier" book by Deborah Wood over this book specific to yorkies, and a "How to Raise the Perfect Dog" by Cesar Millan for training purposes.

It did make me very excited to get a pup.

A great book for those thinking of getting a Yorkie or are a new parent to a Yorkie. Lots of useful info on how to find a dog from a reputable breeder, adopting from rescue group, training, grooming and even showing your dog.
