Ever crash-landed on top of your enemy? Well, I did and now he’s my new boss and fake boyfriend!
Escaping my engagement party and cheating fiancé by climbing down a tree? Check.
Landing on top of a cocky billionaire as-um… arrogant guy? Check. And whoops!
Grayson Wolfe is charming, powerful and utterly full of himself. I despise him. I’m not fooled by his gorgeous smile or distracted by the tingles ignited by our bickering. He’s T-R-O-U-B-L-E, used to getting what he wants and not allowing anything to stand in his way.
I’m a good girl, the perfect debutante and daughter who’s put aside my dreams for duty. But one night of madness finds me climbing down a tree and kissing Grayson before being packed off to work for his company. This so-called opportunity feels more like a punishment.
Unexpectedly flirty emails and one steamy visit to a hayloft lead to a ceasefire in our hostilities. When he suggests making my ex jealous by pretending we’re together, I can’t help saying yes. When I tell him I’m a virgin and want him to be my first, he doesn’t say no.
But can I risk surrendering my heart to the guy I’ve hated for years?
Hi, I'm Cora! Currently, I write billionaire romance as a hobby but I would love to write full time someday. I'm having a great time writing and learning all the ins and outs of self-publishing. Always love to hear from readers and I'm open to questions here.
Oh, Grayson, Grayson, Grayson, you IDIOT. When you really like a girl so instead of kissing her goodnight, you ask her to pretend date to make her ex jealous but now you’re both concerned that’s all the other cares about. FOOLISH. (I love it)
MAIN CHARACTER NAMES Eleanor | Grayson
SUMMARY After Eleanor catches her fiancé cheating, she quite literally falls into Grayson’s arms. The resulting thank-you kiss to her old enemy(ish) is captured and blasted in the society papers, causing a scandal for the previously scandal-less Eleanor. Her father to send her to work at Wolfe Media, hoping tensions will die down.
Grayson is the youngest Wolfe brother and is often seen as the immature partier. Sure, he’s grown up in recent years, but an image is hard to change. After kissing Eleanor, a woman who’s always seemed to hate him, he’s shocked to find that he’ll be one of her new bosses (temporarily). He assures his brother he can stay professional, and he vows to himself that he will.
Whenever Eleanor and Grayson meet, tensions arise. The two can’t seem to stop bickering, but of course, all this simmering means there’s heat. Heat that becomes impossible to ignore the more time they spend together.
REVIEW The amount of secondhand embarrassment I got from this was so painful. I don’t know what’s worse: the failed blowjob scene or the actual first blowjob scene. Actually, yeah I do. Your crush’s dad walking in just as you’re about to give your first blowjob wins by MILES. AND I KNOW WHAT YOU’RE THINKING. This was not a sexy scene. It was AWKWARD, just as it was meant to be.
Grayson and Eleanor had incredible chemistry. Their misunderstandings and miscommunications were understandable. They both had so much patience with each other and despite moments of immaturity, they weren’t immature.
A wonderful end to the series. I found Judge Wolfe's Intern MIRACULOUSLY when Amazon/Kindle’s algorithm was actually plugged in, and I’m so grateful for it. I’m going to need a totally reasonable 20 more books from Cora North within the next year. Thank you.
POV dual / first person SPICE LEVEL 3 / 5 RATING 4 / 5
DNF at 5%. She’s escaping her engagement party and doesn’t have the guts to formally break it off with her fiancé and almost immediately is attracted to and kissing another man.
I’m not a fan of still being in a relationship and getting with someone else. Not my cup of tea. End something before you start something else.
ABOUT THIS BOOK Title: The Wolfe’s Debutante Series: Wolfe Brothers #4 (standalone) Author: Cora North POV: 1st, dual Cliffhanger: HEA: Triggers:
Spice? On a panty melting level.
Angst? There’s some angst, for sure, but not on a totally painful level.
REVIEW There’s been a long time since I’ve been this invested in a book from the very first page—very first sentence even.
I cannot recommend this book enough. I loved the characters. Grayson was the perfect mix of sweet and dirty.
Eleanor’s and Grayson’s banter was to die for. The sex scenes were hot as hell. The sexual tension, out of this world. The relationship between the Wolfe brothers, both funny and sweet. Can’t wait until I can get my hands on the previous books in this series. I want to read about all the brothers!
If you want a story with the enemies-to-lovers trope, a virgin heroine, and a filthy rich and incredibly swoon worthy hero, then this is the book for you.

This is book four of the Wolfe Brothers series and the main characters are Norrie (Eleanor) Fairfield, a former debutante and Grayson Wolfe, a cocky billionaire and COO of the family communication business, Wolfe Media. They grew up in the same circles, but she has hated him since her late teens over something that happened to a friend. She even made up a list of the top ten things she hated about him and still has that list today! The two meet up close and personal, when Norrie decides to escape her engagement party by climbing out a window and trying to jump into a tree, which doesn’t go quite as she hoped. She ends up hanging from a branch and not quite sure how she will get down, when he appears underneath her and offers to help. She loses her shoes and ends up hiding in the bushes with him when her fiancé Fox comes looking for her, but are caught out by reporters as she goes to give him a thankyou kiss on the cheek, which turns into a full on snog! Eleanor doesn’t have the greatest relationship with her father, as he rarely speaks to her, especially about business which she has given up her own dreams to follow in his footsteps with the family communications business. After the embarrassment of the engagement party and the fact she and her fiancé both worked for her father’s company, Fairfield Communications, her father Louis makes an arrangement for her to work under the CEO, Grayson’s oldest brother Theo, as a junior executive trainee! He still treats her like a child even though she did all she could to please him and even got her Masters in Business, and gave up the job she loved with her friend when her studies started to get affected in his eyes! He became a workaholic when her mother died when she was thirteen and sent her off to boarding school. Even at Fairfield Communications, she is the one to collect the coffees and take notes in meetings, rather than have any actual input. When her father finally retires, she knows she will be taking over the company, but he can’t even trust her as beign capable.
Grayson can’t forget the moan Eleanor made when they kissed that night, but has known that she hates him for some unknown reason, for years. Finding out the following Monday, that she is now going to working closely with her brother Theo, brings their antagonistic relationship to the fore. He has been pushed by his parents to go out with her for years, mainly to have a good match within the country club set and also the possibility of a merger between their companies. But Grayson doesn’t believe in serious relationships and is only with someone to have a bit of fun and ensures that is perfectly clear to both parties. He is even warned by his mother to be nice to her at work on the first day, as well as words with Theo about the same! Grayson is the last of the Wolfe brother who is still single and it looks like his mother is getting a bit impatient. Grayson is just trying to prove to his brother that he has matured and is good at his job, wanting praise from him for once. There is a big age gap and Theo still calls him kid, which is kind of annoying. Luckily the other two brothers have jobs outside of the family business. Eleanor is put onto the acquisitions and merger team, with a big possible acquisition on the books and manages to come up with some surprising insights, which draws a bit of nasty action from a jealous co-worker. Each time she and Grayson meet, it seems they can’t stop from having quite heated conversations, making both start to feel things they never imagined from the other and some very steamy dreams! Lots of sparks and fun as Grayson provokes Eleanor at every chance, whilst she gets hotter and hotter under the collar. She is trying to prove herself to her father, rather than follow her dreams with her best friend Drew, but will she actually be happy?
Grayson has had a long seated hatred of Fox, her ex-fiancé, since his college days, after Fox caused quite a scandal for Grayson by catching him in a compromising position with a young lady. Fox was trying to get him to pay for his father losing his business in a takeover by the Wolfe’s father, when Grayson wasn’t even working there yet! Eleanor’s engagement with Fox was one of these county club matches, as well as an easy route for Fox to take over her father’s place when he retired, through a marriage that was not for love, but simply a business arrangement! When she had kissed Grayson, as a thank you that turned into so much more, and yes she will admit she did moan, not that she will admit it to him, she had never felt that from a kiss with Fox. It’s no wonder emails between her and Grayson are so flirty and a steamy get together is not far off the agenda. A suggestion of a fake relationship to get back at Fox is easy to agree to, but then leaves each wondering just how much what happens next is because they want to get back at Fox, or if there is actually something very real between them that might mean more. She may have to change her list at some point, but some may still apply, whilst others hit a little bit below the belt. Each has issues with other which still raise their head and cause problems between them, just as matters were turning serious. Whether they can both surrender their heart to the other for real, with no more secrets between them, will have to get past a few misunderstandings first! A very steamy read, but also lots of laughs as the chemistry between the two is off the charts and their conversations are like two prickly bears having a go at each other. Nice to see the final Wolfe brother find a HEA, as well as have the others in the story as well. I received an ARC copy of this book from BookSprout and I have freely given my own opinion of the book above.
I have read all the previous Wolfe Brothers books, so I was waiting with great anticipation for Grayson’s story. And Ms North did not disappoint! She has written another engaging story that kept me turning the pages well into the wee hours of the night. I am not a great lover of angst, so this was a perfect book for me. There was good balance of all the things you need in a good story: humour, heartbreak, happiness, disappointment, desire, a little bit of angst and lots of chemistry between the main characters. I know we are not supposed to have favourites, but Grayson is my favourite Wolfe brother. Charming and cocky and hiding a kind and caring heart. Norrie is the good girl we are all cheering for to break out of her gilded cage and do what she truly wants to do with her life as opposed to doing what everyone thinks she should. I liked that both Norrie and Grayson are from families who are entrenched in the communications industry and yet there are many instances of miscommunication between them and other family members. But ultimately it is their communication skills that allow them to get past the rough patches in their relationship. Of course the smoking hot sexual chemistry doesn’t hurt either! This can be read as a stand alone but I would suggest that you read all the Wolfe Brother series to fill in any of the story you might be wondering about. They are all great reads. I received a free advance review copy from the author and am leaving this review voluntarily.
This was ok to be honest I thought the bonus book will make it better it didn’t and don’t get me wrong it was good but it didn’t have enough like the others but I honestly do think the other books in this series ended better but anyways I still will recommend these since theses books where and still are good but to me not good enough to read a second time good for the first time and p.s. I love these these books are all different and have a bonus story for every single book and if I was going to pick any books in this series it would be Johnathon and Mia’s aka Judge Wolfe Intern and Oliver and Libby aka Dr. Wolfe Roomate.
She’s a good girl, the perfect debutante and daughter who’s put aside my dreams for duty. An intriguing read. And am voluntarily leaving my review.
Grayson and Eleanor have known each other since they were young. They work together and when things get crazy, they end up in a fake relationship together. Sparks fly between them whenever they are near each other. Will they admit to how they feel?
This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

Norrie and Grayson another smashing hit although with a bit of a twist. This one starts with an enemies to lovers type of theme which I will say is one of my favorite genres. However, we eventually realize that norrie actually has a major crush on Gray but overheard some awful things which led to her hatred.
I really enjoyed this book a lot. I love twists that I didn’t see coming. The characters in this series happen to be some of my absolute favorites.
Grayson and Norrie have a sketchy past until Norrie falls into Grayson’s arms one evening. They must figure out how to work through all the misconceptions while fighting an attraction to each other. Cute story, entertaining and great characters. The whole series was good.
Another winner that hit all the right notes. Cora North gives us great characters and a witty and intelligent storyline. Always fun to see the characters from previous books too.

Another great addition to this series. Grayson and Eleanor are absolutely adorable together. Of course they had some issues but the deep connection they developed was simply beautiful and got through them all the twists and turns they encountered. I enjoyed this story.
From climbing out of a window, talking to squirrels and landing in your “enemies” arms…and that’s just the beginning. This story was funny and cute. And I really like how Grayson being the youngest brother stood out especially when all the brothers were together.
Took awhile to get going and I struggled with the immaturity of norrie however she does eventually come into her own. Do like the Wolfe family and this one was a charmer. Highly recommend.
