Juliet Cooper The youngest Cooper Sister. The baby of the family. The princess. Thanks to Connor Shay, and his stupid sexy mouth, I’ve been stuck with that nickname since the day my sister's best friend and I met. Fine, he thinks I’m spoiled, selfish, sheltered and immature. But after three years abroad, hating Connor and everything he’s done to me, I’m back to prove him— and everyone else—just how wrong he is. But now I’m surrounded by people who think the sun shines out of Connor’s backside, and the more time I spend with him the more I’m inclined to agree. My heart once believed Connor would be my happily ever after and it’s still paying the price for it. So why does one look into his ocean eyes have me forgetting all about the past and my fragile heart?
Connor Shay I fell in love with The Coopers the minute I saw them. I wished they were my family. And by a stroke of luck they felt the same way back. All except Princess. Juliet hated me from the day she saw me and I loved to see her react, finding more and more ways to rile her up just to have a way to be near her. The truth? I loved her the most. And not in the same way I loved her sisters. Princess was mine. But I wasn’t good enough for her. She needed—deserved—perfect, and I was as far from that as you could get. When wanting turned to more, and words I never should have uttered were heard, I lost her for three years. But now she’s back and I won’t lose her again. But will words be enough to change the past? Or is my past too much to overcome and my Princess truly out of reach? Or is love enough to make me her Prince Romeo again?
Koko Heart is 'just a girl following her dreams and writing love stories straight to the heart'.
After years of being encouraged to publish her work by her loved ones, she finally listened. And can now proudly add published author to her name.
She writes steamy, contemporary romances but admits that she likes to test herself with different styles, so you could be getting a tear jerker or a laugh out loud kind of book with her, but she always guarantees a happily ever after.
She lives with her husband and four children in the UK, which is where she bases most of her stories, but she does like to throw in characters from other places as well.
A Second chance at a real life love story! Conner and Juliet have a lot to overcome….a lot of growing up to do… especially Juliet!
Till this Night is a beautifully crafted story by Koko Heart!! I think my absolute favorite part is the bond between this whole family. They’re always there for each, but also don’t hold back on calling each other out when it’s needed!
I’m loving this series so much and can’t wait to see what Koko has up her sleeve for this family in the next book!!!
We meet the next Cooper sister Juliet and she has a massive personal journey to go on. She is truely loved by Connor and the journey to their HEA is fraught and difficult but well worth it.
Koko makes us laugh and cry and bite our nails as the tension builds. She develops and nurtures characters we already know and love from Nell and William's story. Just wait till you get more of Marcus, I need him as my best friend and I will fight Emilia for him. The introduction of twatface leaves me excited for what must surely be the next sisters HEA.
Juliet is the youngest of the Cooper sisters, the Princess. For as long as she can remember she loved Connor Shay and wanted him to be her Prince Romeo. Connor is Juliet’s older sister Cleo’s best friend and has been a part of the Cooper family since grade school. He always treated Juliet, Princess, as the bratty little sister, secretly loving her reaction to his teasing. When Juliet graduates from high school, she and Connor share a night together and she believes he is finally her Prince Romeo. But she overhears a conversation he has with Cleo the next morning and, not waiting for an explanation, runs away. She spends the next 3 years in Thailand, learning how to be independent and take care of herself.
When she moves back home, Connor is still there and his love for her has grown. He’s determined to win her back and convince her they can have the fairy tale. Juliet doesn’t believe him, but she also doesn’t trust him not to break her heart again.
As they grow closer, Juliet still battles with her insecurities and trust issues, at the same time she loves Connor and wants to be with him. This is a story of personal growth for both of them and love that brings them together. This is a sweet love story that will leave you feeling good. I love the Cooper Sisters and am looking forward to the next book in the series!
Never have I ever wanted to spank a FMC so badly as I do Princess Juliet Cooper. That said, Till This Night is a sweet moderately spicy romance with a genuine small-town feel. Till This Night is the second book in the Cooper Sisters Series, but I read it out of order with no issues, making it a standalone in my eyes. Its likeable characters invite readers to go back to the first book out of interest, not necessity.
MMC Connor Shay, who, while a tad clueless, is all in on his love of the precocious Princess and with the help of his best friend (the princess’s sister) and a host of other sisters and friends, he finally gets his hard-won HEA, but not without a bit of angst.
Marcus is by far my favorite supporting character. He provides comic relief and some well-considered, heartfelt guidance to aid the star-crossed couple on their way back to each other.
If sister’s best friend, second chance, with a hint of enemies to lovers, is your happy place, Koko Heart has just what you ordered. I enjoyed this story and look forward to reading the rest of the series.
Juliet is the youngest of the Cooper sisters and has had quite the journey to growing up. Juliet used to love Connor who has been her sister's best friend for years and he's had feelings for her too. He loved her reactions to his teasing however after she overhears something he said to her sister Cleo she flees and learns how to be independent without leaning on anyone. When she comes back Connor hopes that she'll forgive him and give them a chance again though she keeps hearing the voice in her head saying he can't be trusted. I cried with this one but loved seeing how Juliet grew.
I really enjoyed this book. My heart hurt for Connor. The sisters are a lot of fun and I think my favourite might be Cleo. I loved the ending. Can't wait for the next book. Fingers crossed it will be Cleo's story.
Conor didn't think he was good enough for Princess Juliet. And when Juliet only hears half a conversation where Conor says he doesn't want a relationship with her, she high tails it to another country. And leaves everyone behind. And now that she's back Conor hope's she will give him another chance. But Juliet has other ideas and doesn't want to have her heart broken a second time. The more Conor apologises and tells Juliet he loves her the more the little voice in her head tells her that he can't be trusted. With plenty of eye rolling and foot stomping will Princess Juliet come to her senses and forgive her Prince Romeo before it's too late.
I loved this book. Koko made me laugh, cry, and I was mad at times. Cooper and Juliet fought for each other but in the end they got their hea. Can’t wait for the next sister and her mysterious boyfriend who we got a sneak peek at in this story.
Juliet and Connor you've stolen my heart ❤️ The second Cooper sister story hasn't failed to deliver! I didn't want to stop reading and was encapsulated by the love story that unfolded before my eyes.
Group texts, sassiness, sex, romance, tears and laughter all made an appearance, as well as my favourite ducking character from book 1 (if you know, you know - if you don't, READ THIS BOOK NOW!)
You won't be disappointed. Koko has such amazing skill at writing, you don't even need to have read, 'I'm all yours' first - but you'll love this so much that you'll want to read that too!
A fantastic read that has made me even more excited for the next 2 Cooper sister books. Bring on Emilia and Cleo!
In this second book of the Cooper sisters series, it is Juliet's turn to find love. Being the youngest is not as easy as some may think, and she has a lot of growing up to do before finding her HEA. Although she found the object of her affection when she was much younger, the road to happiness will be a bumpy one. This story has all the feels. Some will identify with Juliet and some with Connor, but their struggles are equally evident. Each person reacts to heartbreak differently, and that touch of reality is what makes Koko's stories relatable. Do not miss the chance to enjoy Connor and Juliet's journey.
I was so excited for this book (the second of the Cooper sisters series) because after reading ‘I’m all yours’, I was desperate to find out what was next. I was not disappointed!! The story is so gripping and I literally could not put the book down. I adore the characters and love how I’m never quite sure how things are going to play out. It’s beautifully written and so relatable. I would 100% recommend buying ‘I’m all yours’, ‘Till this night’ and Koko’s first book ‘mine, always’. I cannot wait for more (I really hope there’s more).
Oy. I really liked Connor, the other characters, and the excellent storyline. I really didn’t like Juliet… not even at the end. One of the best parts of that, though, is that I dislike Juliet for exactly the reasons the author portrays her as. She’s selfish, immature, and self-centered. Basically, the author wrote the character so well that it stuck. Lol.
I have fallen in love with the entire Cooper Clan. I love the bond between the sisters, and how “real” they are. Each one of them is so relatable, as are all the characters. With their individual personalities, strengths and weaknesses, it’s easy to imagine them and immerse yourself in the story and in their world.
Connor and Juliet’s story was so well done. I loved Connor so much. I love the way he loves the Cooper family and how he loves Juliet. He’s like a ray of sunshine. Juliet, while she annoyed me at times, (as she was meant to do!) impressed me with her growth throughout the book. Seeing her realize the mistakes she’d made and understand just how much Connor truly loved her was wonderful. Seeing the two of them get their HEA was so inspiring.
I’m looking forward to reading Cleo’s story, and everything else Ms. Heart writes!
I'll freely admit that Juliet is not my favorite character. Her immaturity level was just ugh. This comes from me, as the youngest of 8. I really don't like the whole "baby of the family", spoiled behavior. But I STILL liked the story, mostly because I found the love story between Juliet and Connor sweet and real. And I really wanted Connor to get a happy ending (hahaha).
Well written dialog, fun characters. I am not always a fan of family and friends always getting up in the business of the main characters, but I do love the Cooper family and how loving and supportive they always are, while not interfering TOO much when they aren't needed.
I'm not sure if Koko ever plans to write Emilia's book, but I'd love to see her story too.
'A blissful return to the Cooper clan. Koko delivers a friends-to-lovers story that's everything we know and love about the trope.' - The British Bibliophile
My third and (for now) final Koko Heart paperback read, Till This Night. Book two in her 'The Cooper Sisters' series. I've had a brilliantly amazing time reading her work back-to-back, and I feel rewarded as a reader to have done so for a new British indie author. I'm pleased to announce that I'll be on Koko's ARC team receiving paperbacks of her works too! She's the first author to offer me this opportunity in my six years as a reader & reviewer and two years as a Bookstagrammer. Thank you Koko!
If you want the chance to dive into Koko's branch of the romance tree, then please do contact her and sign up for her ARC team in your chosen read format. I highly recommend her!
Till This Night is as mentioned, book two in the series. This can be read as a standalone if you only wanted to read this book and not book one. Though if like me you're someone who likes to invest themselves in a series, book one is where you want to start. It won't spoil any major plot points in book one if you do decide to start here, so don't worry. You're just skipping a chapter, so to speak, to get here.
I wanted to savour book one--which I did--, because I knew it would lead up to book two and something just as if not more, incredible. I chose not to look at the blurb for this book until after I had finished I'm All Yours as I wanted to be completely surprised as to what would happen and who it would be happening with. A wise choice, on my part, as it luckily worked out well. I don't do what I call 'blind reads' very often, but I'm thrilled to bits that I ended up loving the decision I made. I knew I was in safe hands with Koko.
If you don't want to read on about who this story will feature, scroll away from my review NOW! . If you'd like to know who will be our leading lad and lady, please read on :)
Let's welcome back Juliet Cooper and Connor Shay! We first met these two as supporting characters in I'm All Yours , now they're getting a story all of their own so we can fall in love with them all over again. Personally, I'm glad it's Connor who is our leading lad this time around. His character was extremely appealing in the first book and so much so, if Koko hadn't already written a story about him I was going to kindly demand that she do so. He charmed me for sure!
Juliet and Connor have known each other since childhood, as a result of Connor first being friends with one of her sisters. If they were older when they first met, this would definitely fit into the tropes of 'enemies to lovers' (at a push!) and 'siblings best friend'. The latter is technically true, but let's gloss over that for now. Stuck with a nickname she'd rather not have him call her, Juliet parts ways with him for three years abroad. But why, what happened? For that, you'll have to read to find out. Their reunion is as expected, but can that all be changed with how they go from there on out?
Is it too late for a future, even as friends, with what transpired between them in the past? As we all know, the past is hard to forget, but certain things are even harder to ignore as the two go from friends...to something else. Something more. Juliet has said often enough that she is not a girl that needs a Romeo (more specifically, for Conner to be her Romeo), but how true are her words? Only time will tell.
If I had my way, I would be begging Koko to continue the Cooper Sisters series until there were no more Cooper sisters left, but with this read I and my bookish heart are both very satisfied with Connor & Juliet's story and indeed the series as a whole. I touched upon it in my review for book one, that I was blown away in the growth between Koko's debut novel to the one after and thus this one too. I echo that statement here again. I've not had the pleasure of enjoying a debut author's works so much as I have done here, and I count my blessings that the bookish gods threw Koko into my path for me to enjoy and proudly tell the world about.
As much as I'm going to miss reading about these girls--a revisit is definitely on the cards!--I'm firmly strapped in for what ever Ms Heart will treat us to all next.
I love an intense, heartfelt, intimate, love story with wonderful humor and a little bit of heat. And Till this night by Koko Heart definitely lives up to that standard. It’s a beautiful tale of growing up, facing demons, finding yourself, and allowing yourself to become who you were meant to be.
Heart has created two perfectly imperfect characters who are struggling to accept their fate and flaws. Readers are pulled into their journey through a huge range of emotions as the characters navigate life and longing, love and lessons, and ultimately recognize that their HEA, the perfect someone who sees the best in them even when they can't see it in themselves, was there all along.
I love that I got to read an imperfect female main character in this novel and was given permission to be angry with her and still be happy she got her happily ever after. It’s a lovely reminder that people can be messy and still be loved. Reading a deeply flawed female character, understanding the reasons for their behavior, disliking the behavior, but still embracing the person and wanting them to be happy is something we don’t often get in romance novels. Juliet reminds us that nothing is perfect and everyone has demons. And that's beautifully ok. And Connor, with his own demons to slay, is a wonderful example of fighting for what you want, recognizing your worth, and ultimately understanding that nothing is easy, but the best things are worth the wait and the fight.
Heart has created truly incredible side characters who support her main characters’ journey in the best way. Marcus will not only steal the show, he’ll steal your heart. Will presents a lovely voice of reason. And the Cooper sisters, well, they are a bunch. Seeing their individual personalities begin to flourish and shine, reveling in their love for each other, and appreciating their support and tough love for Juliet is part of what makes this story truly shine. This family, both found and familial, is here for each other through it all. And that is exactly what the characters need.
Heart blends elements of each sister’s life into Juliet and Connor’s story, and I cannot wait to read the next book in the series. Both to see how Cleo finally accepts her HEA, and to visit with Juliet, Connor, and the entire Cooper Crew again.
I fell in love with the first book in this series because Shakespeare... I mean, can someone who worked on a master's in literature not love Shakespeare? But Till This Night- well, Koko Heart just upped her game because she had all the Princess Bride references. Princess Bride is one of my favorite movies just like Juliet. If I had had a Connor growing up, I would have insisted he play Westley too.
Connor and Juliet had one night together before a misunderstanding drove Juliet to flee for three years. Now she's back. Will Connor be able to convince her to give them a try?
Koko set up this book so well in I'm All Yours. You knew something was up with Connor and Juliet (or at least I did). I was desperate for this book and it did not disappoint. Now I'm desperate for Cleo and Antony's book!
What did I like about this book? What didn’t I like about this book?! I LOVED this book! I want to say I love Juliet and Connie. I truly saw the vulnerability of Juliet and related to her in many ways. I completely understood her fears, her insecurities, and how she self sabotages. I think at one time or another we all felt less than and we let the big bad FEAR overrule the desire to be loved. I cried in chapter 1, I laughed at other times and I cheered at the appropriate time.
Connor was the typical guy. He made mistakes, repeated some, but his feelings never wavered. He always knew what and who he wanted. I’m not a forgiving person but that’s what I love about books like this. I can cheer on those that are because deep down I’m not as cynical as I let in. I’m looking forward to reading Cleo’s journey. This is a MUST READ!
Juliet is the baby of the family, sheltered from things she didn't even know about. she ran away when her heart was broken and now has to learn a lot about herself before she is able to move on and truly trust and love!!! Connor is a swoony H who has been in love with his princess for as long as he can remember! He has so much patience for her, honestly more than she deserves! Their story is a beautifully written, slow burn, close family romance filled with laughter, sweet kisses, sexy moments, heartache, and the best ending!!!!! Can't wait for the next Cooper sister to get her book!
I’ve been waiting for the next installment of The Cooper Sisters Series and I was not disappointed. Koko takes us on an incredible journey of growth and maturity. Juliet has so many obstacles to overcome and yeah there were times I wanted to scream at her because Connor Shay is perfect book boyfriend material but I also understood why she was so insecure as well. It was refreshing to see the roles reversed and the h being the one who had to do the grand gesture. Once again, Koko has left me wanting the next book desperately. She’s definitely become a one click author for me.
Wow, absolutely loved this book. The Cooper sisters are definitely a force but the love is eternal and will last forever.
Juliet and Connor always intrigued me in Nell's story and we finally found out why. I won't give any spoilers as I believe it best to enjoy their journey first hand.
All I shall say is true love knows no bounds and can get over any obstacles as long as both parties are willing to try.
I could relate to Juliet so well as I can be like her in some ways but I have my own Prince Romeo.
Highly recommend this book and the series can't wait for Cleo's and Emilia's story now. Highly recommend the amazing author too.
When I read the first book in the series I said in my review that I wanted to know more about Juliet and Connors story. I’ve been waiting for this one to come out and read it in one sitting.
I know all about jealousy and self doubt in relationships, and this showed so much in how Juliet acts throughout the book. She honestly can’t seem to find a way to let Connor break down her walls.
I was so excited to return to the Cooper sisters. Second chance romance is one of my favorite tropes and Princess and Connie did not disappoint. Their story of forgiveness and acceptance, along with a whole cast of amazing side characters, makes for a wonderful read. I’m already looking forward to the next book.
I am really enjoying the Cooper sister books, after reading book one, I was so glad that Nell got it together, but thought I have to read Princess's book to see what happened to her, poor Connor carrying that burden for so long. Of course, I had to read book three.... Love the characters and the angst they go through to get their HEA. Thoroughly enjoyed this book and would recommend. Many thanks.
Amazing book from this author! This is Book 2 in the Cooper sisters series. Poor Juliet is the quintessential misunderstood little sister. She earned the nickname Princess as a child and has always felt it was a negative thing. Image her surprise to find out it was a term of endearment. Already looking forward to the next book!!!
This book brings the angst! Connor and Juliet have grown up together and after one night together there is a 🤏🏻 bit of miscommunication and Juliet flies off to Thailand where she spends the next three years. Both Connor and Juliet have loved each other for so long but both need to grow independently. Juliet the most!
I love this family, especially the group text chats, they are hilarious! I can't wait to see what happens with Cleo and #twatface in the next book! 💜
I love Koko Hearts writing. This second chance romance was amazing. Connor Shay is perfect book boyfriend material. I can’t wait for the next book. They keep getting better and better. Definitely 5 stars from me and Koko has become a one click author too!!!
I absolutely loved Juilet and Connor! What a fantastic story! I loved catching up with old friends and new ones! This author is a new favourite of mine and I am eagerly awaiting the next book in this series.
