Steve Niles and Rob Zombie, team up to present this realistic take on the legendary Bigfoot. A monstrous ape-man is stomping around the woods of the Pacific Northwest, and he's not happy with mankind. Bigfoot also offers master craftsman Richard Corben a return to his true horror roots as he fully renders the imposing beast as only he can.

STEVE NILES is one of the writers responsible for bringing horror comics back to prominence, and was recently named by Fangoria magazine as one of it's "13 rising talents who promise to keep us terrified for the next 25 years."

Niles is currently working for the four top American comic publishers - Marvel, DC, Image and Dark Horse. He got his start in the industry when he formed his own publishing company called Arcane Comix, where he published, edited and adapted several comics and anthologies for Eclipse Comics. His adaptations include works by Clive Barker, Richard Matheson and Harlan Ellison.

Steve resides in Los Angeles in his bachelor pad with one cat. While there's no crawlspace, there is a questionable closet in one corner and no one is quite sure what is hidden in there...but we have an idea.

3.5 stars. Should've definitely had more , but was a fun enough creature feature type story overall.

Slasher comic with next to no plot. It's hard to be invested when the characters have no depth.

Definitely a better showcase for Richard Corben's art than for the writing of Steve Niles and Rob Zombie. Why did it take two guys to write such a simplistic story, anyway?

Straight forward slasher/creature feature. Will work great as horror film, probably Rob's original idea

This was mostly gore with little to no plot, but the gore wasn't even good?

Super fun creature feature made even better by Corben’s creepy art.

Ok, yet another story pitting Bigfoot as a bloodthirsty beast. To boot, casting the legend in the pose from the iconoclastic Patterson/Gimlin footage! Talk about sacrilicious, esp since Bigfoot, in said film, is clearly camera shy, and walking as fast as she can AWAY from the two humans. Oh well. The book is a great occasion to showcase the immense talents of Richard Corben, who is a legend in his own right. Read it for his art's sake.

It was good. Not awesome, but not bad either. A straightfoward monster story that holds no surprises but is still enjoyable. If you're a hardcore Steve Niles or Rob Zombie fan, buy it. If not, borrow from a friend or get it at your local library (if they have it) and read it. You'll probably finish it in one sitting.
