Jay Cronley (1948 - February 27, 2017) was a former columnist for the Tulsa World and the author of many works of humorous fiction.

Many of Cronley's novels have been made into feature films including, Good Vibes, Quick Change, Funny Farm and Cheap Shot.

Cronley's novels are on my reading list because I enjoyed the movie Let It Ride, which is based on one of his books. This is a heist story where an audacious plan goes hysterically wrong. Not the funniest book I've ever read, but I did laugh out loud a couple of times. People look at you weird if you laugh out loud while reading a book.
