I read this book in preparation for my grandson to read it. I think it's a delight way to encourage children to learn to tell time.

This book was about a boy named Max who was always on time because he had a digital watch. One day Max lost his watch and his sister gave him a watch, but Max did not know how to tell time. Because Max could not tell time, he started to become late! Max’s family decided to have an intervention with him by playing a game to help him learn how to tell time. This book is a part of the Math Matters collection. I think that this book is an excellent book to teach children the concept of telling time. Children can relate to this book because they are often really concerned about the time. This book shows the importance of time and how children need to know how to tell time in everyday situations. I also like how this book has time chart on the last page to show children how to tell time using a digital and standard clock. This book also is helpful with helping children understand how time works. For example, a quarter in money since is 25 but in time it is 15 minutes. I really think that this book is a great way to integrate math and reading together.

This is a great book to teach kids about time. This book teaches kids about the different ways of telling time through digital clock and regular wall clocks. This book will be a great way to introduce different clocks and also can incorporate real-life experiences that kids can relate to using clocks and learning to tell time. This book is an awesome book because it is is Spanish and in this world, it is important to let students know it is okay to read book in their language and learn concepts in their language. It will keep the kids engaged and also the other kids can learn different languages through bilingual books. This book will be great for ELL's because first of all it is in Spanish and those students who speak Spanish will feel more comfortable in the classroom and be successful in their academics.

A cute story about Max, who breaks his digital watch and has to use a regular watch in its place. Except he can't tell time with a regular watch, so his family has to help him learn. My daughter got kind of bored with the story, but that was probably because I kept asking her to tell time on the clocks!
