Having made a commitment to see where their relationship leads, actors Jonathan Braedon, Devon Aldridge, and Kit Webster are taking advantage of a long weekend break from filming the miniseries Camelot to escape their castmates and head for the coast of France. They're already exploring options they'd never before considered, and at a cottage with a private beach, they'll stretch the limits of their growing intimacy and introduce a new level of kinkiness to their loveplay.
Growing up in Chicago, Nicki Bennett spent every Saturday at the central library, losing herself in the world of books. A voracious reader, she eventually found it difficult to find enough of the kind of stories she liked to read and decided to start writing them herself.
This is the second book in a six-part series and in this installment we see that the interest and friendship that took hold in Exploring Limits is slowly turning into love. Kit, the youngest, is absolutely head-over-heels for his two older lovers but refuses to confess his love until somebody else says it first. Jonathan knows that he passed lust weeks ago and that he's in love with the two men in his life but he's not ready to admit it to them. Devon, who we find out is a Dom, has had a relationship with an ex go badly and even though we don't know how bad, he only hints at it, the understanding is that he used to be a differnt kind of lover and a much different kind of man. The man he is now, with Kit and Jonathan, is the man he wants to be. He's not in the same "love" place yet but he feels safe with them and for him, that may be even more important. He's vulnerable through this book and I liked that.
My favorite part is when Jonathan, after a D/s scene where Devon claimed Kit, feels like maybe the two men want to be alone. Forever. But what he fails to see is that without him, the heart of the threesome, that Devon would think too much and Kit would not realize what a prize he is. It's Jonathan who's attuned to Devon, who knows when to comfort Kit, he's just a dream and when the two men convince him, in word and deed that they want him there too, we feel his relief at being wanted. In the first book I loved Kit for his trust. In this one I love Jonathan for the size of his heart. I can't wait for the third one!
Lots of sex, but it's how they're bonding until they can all sit around and bare their souls. And it's super hot and super fun to read.

In part two of the Exploring Limits series, our erstwhile heroes Devon, Kit and Jonathan are enjoying a lust-filled weekend of surf, sand and LOTS of sex on the coast of France. The loveplay is kicked up a notch with Devon introducing his two lovers to BDSM. While Stretching Limits is pretty much like its predecessor in that hot sex with three hot men is really the main plot, there's a little more emotional depth with Devon re-learning what it means to be a Master to not one, but two men of differing temperaments.
This book I give 3 stars. The only reason that is, is because of the story plot in this one. The guys are on a holiday and wanted to make their bond stronger and see if the BDSM side of their relationship is worth it. The sex scenes are hot but some of them are unbelievable like two erect cocks in one guys mouth, moving back and forth. Really. She should have be better prepared with the logistics of making love than she is to make it seem real to me.
Since a lot of this takes place on a beach I would say perfect beach read, but it's also a perfect, plane read to help distract yourself from the annoying people sitting in front of you on a plane.
I'm hooked on the series, and can't wait to read the rest.
The 3 characters are all about sex. Supposedly they love each other and haven't said it yet. But really it's about the sex. Did I mention it's about the sex? Seriously, the conversation was minimal, and the sex beyond erotic if you're into BDSM, menages, and m/m/m.
The guys go to France for a week to relax during a break in their filming schedules. We learn of Devons BDSM past and Kit and Jon decide to get into it. Really this book is one long sex scene but its pretty good.
we're getting a bit more story here than in the first book, but it's still mostly one-hand reading material, with extra BDSM (light) on top. i don't like it quite as much because devon is IMO a pretty crappy dom (he thinks so too, but for the wrong reasons).
