Daisy Meadows and her fairies are my childhood. I collected so many in my youth, knowing all the fairies and their importance, and sticking with the two special girls who go to be a part of the magic.
Years ago I had to give my beautiful collection away, now still part of my childhood school where little girls are picking their favourite fairies and playing pretend. It's fun to hear stories from my old teachers telling me how over the years so many students have grabbed these books and fallen in love with the tales of two girls, Jack Frost and the fabulous glittering magic that is the fairies.
On Christmas last year, my sister surprised me with a boxset of these books, but cause you cannot collect these darlings as easily anymore. I was over the moon!
If anyone has a little one who needs a little magic in their life, wants to read and needs a big creation to be hooked on...it is Daisy Meadows!

Oh no! Jack Frost and his goblins are up to no good again! This time they stole Emma the Easter Fairy's three magic items that make Easter a hoppy holiday! Will Rachel and Kirsty, friends of the fairies, be able to help Emma get her objects back before Easter is ruined?

All of the Rainbow Magic books are perfect for holidays/special occasions for early readers!
I loved these books when I was younger and still have a shelf full of them!
The special editions (like this one) were my favorite because they are longer than the regular ones.
There are black and white illustrations on lots of the pages which helps younger ones visualize the story!
I used to think that the books were scary because some of my friends told me they had goblins in them. But then I read one of the books and loved it! The goblins were funny and clumsy!

This was another special edition (three books in one). My daughter saved it for Easter. I liked the choice of special objects, and the addition of the Easter Bunny was nice--that made it four quests in one. I enjoyed the effects of losing the special objects. It was well thought out and added some humor. The best humor, though, came from the goblins (of course). They were in fine form once again, and the illustrations captured it well. Definitely one of our favorite goblin moments. I'd say that helped make it one of the best in this series so far.

It’s about two girls named Kirsty and Rachel helping Emma. Emma is a fairy who loves Easter, but Jack Frost stole the three magical objects. The magical objects are The Bunny Egg, The Colorful Egg, and the last one is The Basket Egg. My favorite part of this book is when Emma got her magical objects because It was happy.

My six-year old niece wanted me to read this to her. It is actually a cute story about the Easter Fairy Emma having her human friends Rachel and Kirsten help her find three important magic eggs that help keep Easter magical.

A quick read with an easy to follow story line. The plot itself was good, it just wasn’t too thorough.

3.5 Stars!

I think this is one of my favourite Rainbow Magic books so far!

I know that there are different authors for every book, but I didn't realize that applied to the illustrations as well. The art in this book looks very different compared to the art in all the other books I've read. Regardless, I think that Emma's design is the cutest, just look at her rain boots!

Speaking of Emma, I truly love everything about her. I think it was a really cool idea to have her items be created every year for Easter rather than just existing - Emma paints three Easter eggs with different designs that her pet chicken has to lay and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed this idea. Also, not only do the girls have to find the items, but they also have to find the Easter Bunny, which is different and interesting and probably exciting for the kids reading these books because they're just used to these girls always having three items to find. Also, I didn't expect Emma to be able to communicate with animals through songs, but the Cinderella of it all was something I was super into, more power to her.

One other thing that I appreciated about this book was that they added something new, at least as far as I know, to the fairy lore by saying that fairies can actually sense magic, because it makes sense. 'Goblin Gossamer' was also new to me and I like that they're doing something new with goblins because of course they have pet spiders weaving GREEN webs to catch fairies.

I also think that this book feels like an Easter/Spring book because you have all these flowers and colours being mentioned throughout the book, so it had that vibe that I think it needed to have.

The goblins in their lamb costumes was the highlight of the book, nothing will ever top this.

A delightful story for a little girl!  Rachel and Kirsty are looking forwards to Easter but the two friends are shocked to find that the nasty Jack Frost has stolen the Easter Bunny and the 3 magical Easter eggs made by Emma the Easter Fairy have been lost.  The three friends have to outwit the tricky goblins, find the missing eggs and rescue the Easter bunny or there will be no Easter this year.

While predictable and somewhat repetitive, this was still an enjoyable book flavored with it's English authors touches. The characters have positive attributes and tame adventures suitable for any young reader. Furthermore, any collaboration of authors willing to write under the name Daisy Meadows, is going to get a thumbs up from me ;)

Emma Rachel and Kirsty were trying to find 3 magic eggs. There were goblins there. Then they went to a strawberry farm they went to a pet shop to find the easter bunny. Jack Frost got distracted because he was yelling at the goblins. The girls went home. The next day it was a bright sunny day and they got easter baskets. They were happy. They went on the porch and got a big surprise! Emma was in the egg.
