Sometimes our plans take a terrible twist, turning our hopes and dreams into nightmares. What do you do when your best plans fall apart? How do you handle the disappointments? Look to the Psalms.

Loving the stories that go with specific Psalms. Author uses four psalms to support her writing: Ps. 77, 46, 84, & 63. It does encourage me. It loses one star because it is gender specific when this book is not necessarily steer for women only. I am a male reader and enjoy this book entirely. Also it loses one star because it talks a lot about comfortable and assurance in God but it does not talk about how to snap ourselves out of grief and get back on the life. Life does not stop, world does not stop spin, river does not stop flow so we do not stop even if we are grieving. It does not show us how to grieve and live at the same time. Yes, it is possible when we have right frame of mindset.
Dillow takes various Psalms from the Bible to address faith issues. It is a book I will read over again going back to my highlighted spots. I found it very encouraging and hopeful. "The woman of strength dares to dig blessings out of hardships. . . She personally discovers that God always gives His people the supplies they need while traveling the road that He appoints."
