Anything Can Be Healed

Rate this book
An incredible and revolutionary book full of powerful healing methods, techniques and tools anyone can use!

"I released myself from a terminal illness which traditional medicine had considered hopeless - untreatable - and returned to perfect health. I believe we are all healers, and somewhere deep inside we know that anything can be healed."
Martin Brofman, PhD.

Are you 100% fit and healthy, 100% of the time, in both body and mind? Then this book may not be for you. This is a book for the rest of the population, those who are occasionally or frequently plagued by dis-ease, be it minor or major, acute or chronic. This is a 'how to' book filled with techniques that can be used by anyone -- professional healers, practitioners, therapists and their clients alike.

Martin Brofman has developed a system of healing that effectively and seamlessly blends Western psychology and Eastern philosophies. His groundbreaking work on chakras and their connection to both mind and body allows us to read the body as a map of the consciousness, tracking routes from symptoms through to causes and then working with them. Learn these techniques and you may well nip in the bud potential future ailments, too.

Anything Can be Healed explores the ideas that 'how' we are physically is a reflection of 'who' we are and 'how' our life is. It empowers us to make changes and to take responsibility for our health and well-being. Martin is living proof of the power of his own techniques.

You only have one body -- look after it!

A former Wall Street computer expert and a student of psychology and comparative religion, developed the Body Mirror System and the Vision Workshop through his experiences of releasing himself of a terminal illness which traditional medicine had considered hopeless - untreatable - and returning to perfect health.

During his own healing process, he learned much about the Body Mind Interface, the relationship between the body and the consciousness, and how it works. He then developed a model in order to clarify these ideas for himself, as well as to provide a vehicle for teaching them easily and quickly to others.

Martin Brofman has been teaching these ideas around the world for more than a quarter century, and has trained other teachers, as well. His books have been published in ten languages, and are widely acclaimed for the clarity with which his ideas are expressed. Tens of thousands of students world-wide have learned to use his techniques.

Great book that can transform our beliefs in healing any disorder.

Often we get hypnotized by the 'experts' and so-and-so condition can't he cured and our end is imminent. We believe it and it happens! Why can't we use the same effect for better conditions?

Spiritual books tend to be somewhat difficult to understand, this is not a problem for M. Brofman. He was able to translate thousands of years worth of knowledge in a simple, to the point and ever so relatable book.

I knew this was going to challenge a lot of the views I hold around medicine and healing. On one hand I agree with many aspects of this form of healing - I see it as functioning in the same class as positive thoughts and placebo, which is proven to work. But to claim that it can cure any disease seems a bit strong.
The claim that all illness stems from problems within the individual also seems far-fetched.
How does that explain spreading a contagious disease, of an infant who catches leukaemia?
There are certainly ideas in this book that can be used in holistic care, but I would not personally use these ideas exclusively.

I largely identify with the author's philosophy on the mind-body connection, and I am genuinely impressed by the explicit details he provides regarding healing procedures and the chakras. However, despite my fascination with alternative healing and my familiarity with New Age literature, I find his explanations far too simplistic, even dogmatic. At times, he sounds more like a preacher delivering a sermon than a healer offering a practical manual. Throughout the book, I couldn't help but question his theories, which often feel like a disjointed amalgam of Theosophy, Hinduism, the Law of Attraction, and pseudo-science. That being said, I must admit that some of his insights are undeniably enlightening. In conclusion, while I took away a great deal from this book, I simply cannot buy into it completely.

I trust that the author is a kind and wise healer. But after reading the book, I have decided that, thanks to his insights, I must trust my own sensations and intuition, my own way of healing, and ultimately, myself.

Anything Can Be Healed was an interesting read because it introduced me to a very different perspective on healing, particularly the ideas of chakras, consciousness, and the connection between the mind and body. I liked exploring these concepts and thinking about healing beyond just the physical side of our experiences.

I may not agree with or take every idea in the book literally, especially when it comes to health and healing, but I still found parts of it interesting from a spiritual and self reflection perspective. It encouraged me to think more about emotions, self awareness, and the importance of paying attention to ourselves.

Overall, it was an interesting book to read with an open mind and take from it whatever personally resonates with you.
