For anyone looking to learn how to use Adobe Illustrator CS5, this book would be an excellent one to consider. Deke McClelland does a great job on detailing all of the main functions of the program. The only downside is that the projects are a bit weak, and the chapter on the Gradient Mesh wasn't worthy for such an important feature. The videos that are accessible via the internet are a great supplement to the material presented within the book.
