There were times when I thought "eight kanji isn't very much considering they're so simple/I knew these from before", but for someone coming straight from e.g. Genki, with little to no independent cramming, I think it's a good balance, and it will get you to 288 new kanji in a month and a half, which is not at all shabby.
I found it way eaauer that any other books in the N3 collection, maybe because I already went through all the vocabulary and reading practice. Tomorrow I'll start with the exam practise, but I'll allow myself a break for Easter.
Good for reviewing for the JLPT, but not ideal for leaning the kanji in the first place. There are no writing activities and it doesn’t even show the stroke order.
Very useful but I wish if it had all the readings of each Kanji.... It's very annoying that on N2 I must repeat studying Kanji once again but in other reading 😢
