With fall on the way, James is working hard to prepare his cabin for the colder seasons. Cutting wood, bringing in the last harvest, getting supplies… Even with magic, he has his work cut out for him.
But he’s going to have plenty of fun while he works! Between Lucy’s barbecue, discovering new spells, and sharing his cabin with a cat girl and a fox girl, James has a lot to look forward to. And let’s not forget date nights, a camping trip in the woods, and the mysterious red-eyed creature that stalks the forest.
And then there’s the intricacies of keeping a cat girl, a fox girl, and a Dragonkin on — erm — friendly terms. Yeah, plenty to do…
This slice of life story contains unconventional relationships centered on the male main character. Also contains cat girls, fox girls, deer girls, and dragonkin.
This one was much better than the other book…. At least the ending.. I have a hunch about the “red eyed beast” but we shall see how that pans out. I’m kinda wondering about those three women, the sisters and the cousin… if there’s anything nefarious going on…also why did she need 400 trees? 🤣 I think things are moving at an off pace kinda… Lucy has been put on the back burner almost totally, which I disagree with and I think if my cellar was a doorway to different worlds I’d truly be gearing up with attack magic for a foray into the breach and have a look… even if things are kinda tame as Sara says (one giant spiders… got fire? ) I would have a couple of attack spells on me just wondering about the woods… I mean isn’t there just natural predators? Wolves? Bears? Moose? I would at least have a few spells up my sleeve for a skirmish or three… also, something is telling me we haven’t seen the last of James family ( boy I hope we have) also Jackie is suspicious… Margaret is kinda interesting as well as mrs truancy. A little old lady with that insane appetite just sounds…..odd and has my spidey senses going off. Syilla… well, you know what I think about her… read above . Let’s see what the next book brings. Onward lads!
Alternate universe, magic, monster girls, base building, harem adult situations
The harem expands as does the cabin that James lives in. Building without a foundation works in the short term, but will require a lot of maintenance down the road. Interesting so far. Not sure why he didn't do some research before he started building. Camping and construction are discrete skills.
A village that only has women... and James. Makes one wonder what the women did for fun before James arrived. Plenty of sex scenes, and some with multiple partners. The section breaks were used to demarcate some of the sex scenes. Interesting. There's seven more books in this series? Still entertaining.
Still one of my favorites! I love how the story progresses and how the author describes everything around the MC. Very well written so you can really delve into the story. Also, I love the characters. Can't wait for Hind to join in, and I'm looking for to Sylla too (just a suspicion at the moment, if I'm guessing correctly) The only thing I'd like to have in the story is to have the MC research the magic language more. There has to be more there, and if he can speak it fluently then he'll have more options.
James becomes more invested in Tours with getting to know it's residents .
James continues to fix an expanded his one room cabin with an bigger off room kitchen, bigger bedroom, an installing indoor bathroom with indoor running water ,shower, an indoor toilet getting things ready for winter no-more use for anything outdoors bathing an etc. . Making acquaintes with townspeople of Tours doing odd jobs making money to improve the cabin .An learning the family secrets involving Tours . recommend reading excellent series .
Yet another wonderful story in this series!!! For all of those who have read this authors works. You will not be surprised by for well written this series is, for those that haven't go back and read their other works as well!!! This story just keeps pulling us the reader dealer and deeper into Tour and the world of people in it!! I can't wait to see what comes next!!!
Okay there's lots of everything errors she when it should be she her when it should be him mostly stuff like that using the wrong name of a character but they're talking about and all this from American people it's just bugs me for some reason the story is great but with all the editing years I can't give it a five so I gave it a four. If you can get past the editing errors you should enjoy this book especially if you've already grabbed the other two!
Jack has written a really lovely slice of life series with Country Mage MC is not overpowered and has a cool way of powering up. Girls and Monster Girls are all 3d and interesting It a great series and I look forward to the next instalment
This has been a thoroughly entertaining series. I'm enjoying watching the characters grow as the story proceeds. A bit of action, a bit of adventure, and just the right amount of spice, keeps the story moving. I'm looking forward to the next book.
