A kind stranger calmed me down from one of the worst flights of my life. I forgot my Xanax and started to have a panic attack, 30,000 feet in the air. Little did I know that day would change my life forever. Maxim Kozlov looked and acted the part of a kind stranger. He’s a massive, powerfully strong bastard with brutal, deep blue eyes that promise all kinds of delicious things. He was like something out of a dream, so I fell fast and hard. Prior to Maxim, my life goals were simple and clear. A passionless marriage, my own yoga studio, and a secure but dull future. I was seriously happy with these goals until he opened my eyes and showed me what real passion is like. He makes me feel things no one ever has. Things I didn’t imagine possible. I didn’t know what I was missing until Maxim turned my cooling embers into a raging inferno. But Maxim is the farthest thing from a kind, sweet man. He is arrogant as hell, and trouble seems to follow him wherever he goes. He is a master of deception and destroys everything in his path. He is a complicated man with a complicated past and a complicated present, with secrets. His secrets not only ruined my chances of having a respectable future, they also led to my kidnapping and brought me dangerously close to losing my life.
Maxim
I’m broken, dangerous, and wanted by my Bratva family’s rival. After the mysterious disappearance of my mother, I discovered that I have three brothers, Misha, Ivan, and Dmitriy. I sought out their help in locating our mother, only to be shot and sent to Brazil for recovery and to hide from whoever is threatening our family. That’s when I ran into Cristiana Diaz. The exact moment that I laid eyes on her, she became mine to possess. I had no business even looking at a girl like Crissy. She is too young, too trusting, and far too innocent. Touching her could be my undoing. She’s the forbidden fruit, and being the bastard that I am, I took a bite. I found solace in her, and she became my salvation. Her innocence has enchanted me, and now I want more of her. I snatched her from the mundane existence she had created for herself and wrapped her in mine. There's no way she'd expect a happy ending to her naive little fairytale if she knew the kind of man I was.
Publisher's Note: Bratva Bastard is a stand-alone novel which is the fourth entry in the Kozlov Brothers 5-book series. It is a steamy dark Russian Mafia enemies-to-lovers full-length novel with some trigger warnings, so make sure you check them out! There's no cheating, cliffhangers, and always a guaranteed HEA.
I’m Misty Winters, the “Mother of Chihuahuas”… also of three human children, and I’m the debut author of some new steamy contemporary romance novels. I’ve always been an avid reader, devouring whole books in one sitting, and with my vivid imagination, writing was a natural next step. I love creating plots and characters that can provide my readers with an escape from the everyday. My ability to concoct stories has always been my inspiration, and besides, who doesn’t want to spend the day dreaming up romantic bad boy leads?
I’m an animal fanatic, and my little fur babies, Lulu, Oliver, and Winston, are my cheerleaders while I write. I firmly believe a good laugh can heal the soul, and for those it doesn’t, red wine will do the trick.
Solid Bratva story that picks up where Bratva Prince left off. Maxim is a playboy who meets Crissy at a wedding. They flirt back and forth but nothing happens till they both end up back in Brazil. Crissy lives there and Maxim is on the run from another Bratva boss. The two meet and then the book gets pretty hot. Then the complications happen. Arranged/bargained marriage, betrayal among old friends, kidnappings, it’s a ride! The ending was everything I hoped would happen and ends in a slight cliffhanger that doesn’t really have anything to do with the couple itself. Just sets up for the 5th book.

Ahhh! Just like book 3, the ending had me wanting to yell!! I’m dying to get the story behind why these guy’s mom left. This was another great story f/Misty. And I’m really really looking forward to the final book in the Kozlov series. After that ending in book 3, I couldn’t wait for Maxim’s story. After his mother goes missing he turns to his brothers, who he’s never met, for help in finding their mother. Maxim, the proclaimed playboy, swearing he’s never getting married & kids aren’t for him, well it didn’t take him long to fall for Crissy! Crissy is his complete opposite. I felt for her, she’s caring for her terminal ill mother & trying to get by. And when she meets Maxim he makes her feel alive. They spend several weeks together before he’s forced to return to Russia, but promising her he’ll return. Not long after him leaving everything changes, Crissy gets surprising & unexpected news, & Maxim finds himself forced into a situation that leaves him completely ghosting Crissy. Thinking she’s being guarded & is safe he focuses on trying to get himself out of the situation he’s in, but when he learns she’s been kidnapped everything changes. He realizes that him & his brothers have been betrayed & his only focus is on getting Crissy. This was really good, my only complaint is I felt the ending was rushed. Crissy just jumped in his arms, no questions asked as to his “engagement” or his ghosting her. And I would’ve loved to have seen Ana been put in her place & seen her reaction when she learned Maxim wouldn’t be marrying her. But I’m glad Maxim & Crissy got their HEA & I’m anxious for the next book!
This story had my on the edge of my seat all the way thur from first to last page. The characters are strong, but are stronger with family behind them. They are part of the Russian Bratva and they rule their parts of the world. Maxim and Chrissy meet at his brother and her best friends wedding. They have an attraction, but does not act on it until later when they meet again. There is hot physical activity, bad company, kidnapping, and finally love together.
Great potential, too many missed opps! NEEDS EDITING!
This is the fourth story in the Kozlov Brothers series. I DO NOT consider this to be a STAND-ALONE read. I HIGHLY recommend these be read in series order, as they contain multiple reoccurring characters and interwoven themes so a lot of details that occurred previously would be lost, as they cannot be adequately explained within another story.
— If you have not read any of the stories in this series, the following will contain spoilers, but hopefully only enough to adequately explain my opinions, questions, etc. about the story. —
— This is a dark-themed mafia series with all the violence you would expect from the genre, although not so much in this story. It is for adults only (18+ years old) and NSFW. I included a high-level list of potential trigger topics below for sensitive readers —
This is also a fast paced read. The story universe is fairly well defined, but I need more details. More on the characters, as well as the background and details about significant milestones in the story.
I kept reading the series in the hopes that my unanswered questions would eventually be resolved, but they just kept on building from one story to the next. I hope this is deliberate and will be wrapped up in a final story, but not holding my breath. I can only speculate as to why, but as a reader it is disengaging, frustrating and makes me want to never start a new series by her again.
Another common theme in the series. Major plot points are set up beautifully, but then when they reach the place that they should be revealed, Misty Winters just skips right over it, or doesn’t mention it again.
Because the information is available to read on my reviews of the previous stories, I didn’t include them below even though they are still outstanding.
— Misty does a great job setting things up, but fails to follow through. There are times the descriptions are so good that the story leaps off the page (so to speak). Then circumstances / mysteries make me want to keep reading to see what is going to happen next, but then base information in missed or never given. === Such as how old are the brothers? Nothing has been listed for Misha, Dmitriy, Ivan and now their half-brother, Maxim, in any of the stories, not even what the differences in ages between them are … === Why did their mother disappear when the 3 were younger? Why did she stay hidden even after their father died if he was the reason? === When their mother is found after the latest disappearance, nothing is given about why ******* kidnapped her and held her for several months. Why it was at that specific location (coincidence?), what happened to her while she was abducted, what she threatened, abused, tortured, left alone? Not to mention what was going on when she was rescued that had made her curl up and cry with ******* standing over her. === Who is Sorokin? Why is he more important than any other competitor? Is it the size of his organization, what he handles, his connections? Why must a truce be obtained at any cost? === How long has ****** worked for *******? Was he /she responsible for the open threads from the other stories? — I was happy that this story didn’t have the same issues as Bratva Prince with impossible intimate positions. — Disappointed that there was very little Russian and no Portuguese dialogue. Can only assume that Maxim and Crissy are communicating in English (another detail not included). I really liked that the earlier stories in the series had Russian, as long as the translations were included. — Dmitriy’s name has been misspelled in this story as well … UNACCEPTABLE!
I mention the following for readers such as myself that visualize the story as it is read, because errors interrupt the flow. There are grammatical errors, mainly with incorrect punctuation (commas, quotation marks, etc.) and incorrect word choice. I didn’t highlight and make a note on all of the grammatical issues with punctuation, just the ones that bothered me the most tbh. Also misspelled another character’s name, Andrei. There are multiple inconsistencies (I.e. bar where Crissy worked, situation and with grandparents, etc.). I uploaded my notes to goodreads for anyone interested.
⛔️ Series contains references to, or scenes detailing, subject matter that may be a trigger or offensive to some, including, but not limited to: adult language; derogatory terms; mental health challenges with depression, anxiety, flashbacks, etc.; steamy adult intimate scenes with elements of BDSM (dominance, submission, restraints), etc.; violence throughout typical of the Russian Bratva (mafia) genre such as kidnapping / abduction, murder, death, torture, theft, assault, attempted rape, rape, threats, fighting, human trafficking, mental, physical and sexual abuse of adults and children, prostitution, betrayal, drug use, drug manufacturing and selling, illegal gun sales, abortion, sabotage, child abandonment, etc.
Overall - I did not like the writing in this 1 star Spice - was not that great - 1 star Humor - I didn't laugh at anything except how bad the writing was 1 star Emotional damage - 1 star
This was cheesy. Okay so get this - this dude is suppose to be this Bratva guy - yet he is telling her everything about him and his business within like 2 days of meeting her. He told her about the money laundering, his brothers, the drugs he sells, killing people etc. Like he is really bad at this. Then she doesn't even bat an eye at all that. You would THINK she would be like 'wtf i can't be with you' but nope. She just accepts it.
The interactions with his brothers were cheesy and forced Idk the writing just seemed immature like I couldn't take anything seriously
So Christina overheard some Russians - actually no Christina finds out about these Russians that show up in town and decides to follow them to see what they are up to (why ?? - who the fuck knows) She heard them talking about killing Maxim. When she finally sees Maxim she doesn't warn him because the bar gets busy - although you would think considering the woman she saw with the Russian's was there as well that she wouldn't care how busy - she would do what she could to warn him instead she sits and watches while he goes and sits to talk with the woman who is trying to kill him he gets up and goes to the bathroom and instead of following him she lets him go - only to watch the woman drug his drink and then he gets back and she watches him drink it THEN she finally goes up to him and asks him to talk in private after he'd been drugged. like wtf is wrong with this chick you would think she would call security or something - but nope
Another thing is when they finally decide to have sex - Maxim asks if she is sure and she gets all pissy saying 'is this because i'm a virgin' then says that now her secret is out so WHY would anyone think its because she is a virgin if he didn't even know? like that made absolutely no sense what so ever. like WTF are you talking about
idk there was just so many things that for a fictional story just felt really fake it was un-natural and then immature at points. the author wasn't able to get the point across or write in a way that our emotions guide us through the story, at least for me it didn't.
What a roller coaster ride. Misty always writes stories that pull you right in and have you guessing what’s going to happen next. The chemistry and angst between the characters is always so good. There were a few twists and turns I didn’t see coming, but only kept me wanting to read more. All of the Mafia goodness.
This book had odd pacing and did a lot of telling instead of showing. Also kinda odd that we are told it’s set in Brazil but there was nothing that jumped out as Brazilian and the few times the h didn’t speak English she spoke Spanish instead of Portuguese. Seems like the author didn’t do any research about Brazil.
Maxim went looking for his mother after she went missing and found that he has brothers that he never knew about. Misha, Ivan and Dimitry agreed to help find their mother. Maxim’s best friend Zoran is getting married and he is the best man. Crissy is working two jobs to help her mother who has cancer. She has had a boyfriend Luiz for years and they have never had sex. Crissy doesn’t love Luiz as more than a friend. Her mother is pressuring her to marry Luiz and have children. Crissy is invited to her best friend Gabby’s wedding in Russia and she is terrified to fly. Fernanda Gabby’s sister is with her on the flight from Brazil to Russia and she has Xanax. Maxim sees Crissy at the wedding and is interested in her but when a blonde grabs him off the dance floor and they end up in his room. Maxim gets a call from Misha that is urgent and he kicks the girl out. Crissy thinks Maxim is very handsome but after she saw him leave with the blonde she wasn’t interested. Gabby and Fernanda were telling Crissy to just find someone she has sparks with for her first time. On Crissy’s plane ride home she starts getting really anxious and is headed for a panic attack, she doesn’t have her Xanax. She begs the stewardess to move her from the aisle seat but the stewardess refuses to help her. Maxim is on the same flight and ho agrees to change seats with her. When Maxim went back to his first class seat to grab something he recognized Crissy from the wedding. He sends his bodyguard to sit in Crissy’s old seat and he sits with Crissy. They chatted for the 23 hour flight. Crissy works at the bar in a hotel and when Maxim decided to stay at that hotel he figured he might see Crissy again. Crissy saw two men talking to a beautiful woman and they mentioned Maxim’s name and something about killing him. Crissy was working as she saw Maxim come in but she was so busy she couldn’t get to talk to him. When the woman came into the bar and ended up sitting with Maxim. When Maxim went to the restroom the woman slipped something in his drink. Crissy ended up going over and rescuing Maxim and took him to his room as stayed with him. Maxim asked Crissy if she loves Luiz and she admits that she doesn’t. Maxim and Crissy end up hooking up the next day where they had dinner and sex on the beach for Crissy’s first time. The chemistry between Maxim and Crissy is off the charts. Will Crissy breakup with Luiz and go with Maxim? Will Crissy get forcibly involved with the Bratva? Will Crissy have to continue working two jobs? Will Crissy’s mom finally get relief from her terminal cancer? Will Maxim finally want to settle down and have a family after being a playboy all his adult life? Will Crissy finally find her spark with Maxim? Will Maxim and Crissy find their happy ever after? I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book via Booksprout.
I loved getting to know Maxim in this book. The Koslov brothers are great and Maxim fits right in. I love the dialogue between the brothers, they are funny, sarcastic and supportive. Maxim has watched his best friend and brothers fall in love and be wrapped around a woman's finger; and he swears that will never be him. Maxim has no plans to keep a woman around for more than a night, but his brothers and friend get the last laugh when Crissy walks into his life. Crissy is best friends with Gabby who is married to Zoran, and he is Maxim's good friend. This is how they meet the first time. Maxim gets in a little trouble in Russia and the boys think Maxim would be better off in Brazil staying with Dimitry and Gemma. Crissy is from Brazil in the same area as Dimitry and Gemma. The attraction is instant between Crissy and Maxim, but Maxim has finally met a woman that doesn't just fall at his feet. Maxim has to woe Crissy a little but when things heat up between the two, real feelings come on quick. Maxim has never felt this way about a woman before and I laughed reading how he falls hard for Crissy. Everything he says he wouldn't do he does. Yet, nothing is ever perfect and there is always drama in the Bratva. When an agreement must be reached in Russia between the Koslov's and another family the heartache comes. You could feel the heartbreak Crissy went through, along with some other situations. I loved though how Crissy had so many people in her corner. Maxim has some decisions to make, and you will enjoy reading how things turn out. Maxim's mom finally makes another appearance, but will she stick around this time? Will Crissy and Maxim end in heartache? I love how this author always grabs my attention from the beginning. I read this book in one night, I couldn't find a place I was willing to take a break at. I just had to continue to know what happened. The writing is descriptive, the relationships are authentic, and I love all the emotions I feel when reading. The book has some passionate spicy scenes between Maxim and Crissy, which I enjoyed. I also loved that Maxim calls Crissy his sunshine in Russian.
"...Get yourself a guy who can make you go weak in the knees with want. One that makes you want to bang your head against the headboard and have crazy sex...".

Maxim Koslov is an arrogant, dangerous, and powerful bastard Bratva son. His beloved mother mysteriously goes missing and he soon discovers that he has three brothers; Ivan, Dimitry, and Misha Koslov. He seeks their help and develops a brotherly bond with each of them. Cristiana ‘Crissy’ Diaz leads a dull life working multiple jobs to make ends meet, being the primary caretaker of her terminal mother, and staying in a loveless but safe relationship. She’s kind, innocent, and selfless. Maxim and Crissy are opposites in every way, but their chemistry is off the charts and neither can ignore the draw to one another. Maxim makes Crissy feel things she’s never felt before and it doesn’t take long before they fall into bed together. The steamy moments were *chefs kiss* top tier and I loved that Maxim was a total softy with Crissy.
Maxim is forced to flee to protect his family but vows to return to Crissy. Except it’s never that simple and he has to sacrifice his happiness by agreeing to marry the enemy’s daughter. My heart broke for Crissy when Maxim refused to respond to her messages or answer her calls. She was blindsided by Maxim’s sudden disappearance and lack of response. I was so angry at Maxim for icing Crissy out, especially when she learns that she’s pregnant with his baby. He may have left a body guard to protect Crissy, but he left her so vulnerable. Crissy is kidnapped and her life, plus her baby’s life, is in grave danger.
This was such a great book and my only complaint is that Maxim didn’t have to grovel for leaving Crissy the way he did. I know he had no choice, but I was just so angry that he didn’t beg at her feet for forgiveness after everything that happened. I guess I’m a sucker that needs grovel! Maxim and Crissy do finally find their happily-ever-after.
Tropes: Contemporary romance, mafia romance, billionaire romance, opposites attract, bad boy / good girl, instalove, age gap, virgin heroine, secret pregnancy, happily-ever-after Heat: 3/5.

Buckle up this is a wild ride, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, so gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love (ALL THINGS TO EXPECT FROM THE MAFIA WORLD). By the time you’ve figured out who is who and what is what, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter! CAN’T SAY YOU WEREN’T WARNED!!!!! Crissy on a plane having a panic attack when a stranger decides to reach out to calm her down getting to know each other leads to so much more thinking he is a nice man but so very broken but never realizing that day on the plane will change her life forever. Maxim sexy as all get out known bratva bastard since his mother left his brother taking him, not being raised by his father, and helping the little beauty on the plane knowing he should walk away but something about her calls to him so one night is all he tells himself but we all know how we tell ourself something and it all goes another way. The attraction was intense, the magnetic pull is too strong to ignore and giving in seems to be their option but landing both in hot water because he is supposed to marry another for the family and him being with her someone who comes from nothing in their eyes shouldn’t even be on his radar now keep in mind this isn’t his family they love her but the women he was supposed to marry family not so much so when they find out she is pregnant they kidnap her to force her to have an abortion but will the doctor they found follow through with it knowing it isn’t what she wants, will they figure out who is working for the other side, will they find his mother who was taken, will she get away with their baby, will he find her in time, and can they find happiness so where on the roller coaster ride they have embarked upon?.

Maxim has been searching for his missing mother for years and has exhausted all his resources. He has three half brothers who he has never met in person, but he knows where they are anddssssssssssssss needs them now to help him find their mother. Maxim was already involved in some non-violent criminal activities in the St. Petersburg area, and his brothers work out of Moscow for the Bratva, engaged in more violent activities. When they meet, they don't initially believe Maxim, but he is eventually able to convince them of his identity and they agree to work together.
Following an unfortunate clash with another Bratva personage in Moscow, during which bullets flew leaving a criminal father and son dead, along with some other armed staff, Misha, Dmitry and Ivan send Maxim to Brazil. On the flight he meets Cassie, a young woman who is returning to the small town that is also Maxim's destination. While to this point Maxim has been sworn to the life of a single playboy, Cassie has made an impression on him that may just change his opinion on that subject. But Cassie is already in a relationship with Luiz, a good, stable and financially well set gentleman, although she is reluctant to further the relationship because she is not in love with him. Instead, sparks immediately began to fly between Cassie and Maxim. Could it become something more serious?
As the story evolves, Cassie and Maxim become closer, Cassie kicks Luiz to the curb, and Cassie is kidnapped by her supposed bodyguard, who turned his loyalties from Maxim's family to their enemies. Confused? You won't be if you read the book. It's a good story with lots of twists and turns. The only thing it's missing is a Russian accent in the dialog, which would make it more convincing.

Bratva Bastard by Misty Winters will have you on the edge of your seat from start to finish! The word WOW comes to mind whenever I think about the amazing and spicy saga Ms. Winters created in this novel. Maxim Kozlov has recently learned that he has three older brothers from his mother’s previous life with a Bratva boss, and enlists their assistance to search for their missing mother. During the search, Maxim is wounded and sent to Brazil to recuperate with one of his brothers. On the plane to Brazil, he sets his eyes on a beautiful young woman who is terrified of flying. One look at her and Maxim decides she is his. Crissy Diaz is grateful to the gorgeous, gigantic stranger who does his best to calm and distract her throughout their flight home. She experiences feelings that leave her in a quandary of excitement and attraction she has never known for any man, including her boyfriend of several years. Maxim has Crissy reevaluating the entirety of her life and plans for her future. She has never felt so alive as she did in those hours spent with Maxim on the plane! Okay, that’s all you get from me on the plot, but rest assured that Ms. Winters weaves her magic wand and fills the entirety of this wonderful story with plot twists and events that the reader will not see coming their way! And, as with every Misty Winters novel, this story sizzles and burns whenever Maxim and Crissy are together…you will be running to the freezer to douse yourself in ice cubes to cool off. You cannot miss this steamy, sensual tale by a master craftswoman!
Lots going on in this story; missing mom, newfound brothers, falling in like, reverse forced marriage, a couple of kidnappings, and forced surgery…oh my! Maxim and his mom run a small-time Bratva family in St. Petersburg when suddenly his mom disappears. Looking through her stuff he finds evidence he has siblings. And that’s how he meets his brothers Ivan, Misha, and Dimitry Koslov, of the Moscow Koslov Bratva Family. Crissy works two jobs to support her mom, who has cancer, and herself, they only have each other. Crissy is a “good girl” who is intrigued when she meets Maxim at a friend’s wedding but off he goes with a hot blond. When they meet again in her home town a friendship is formed which develops into more… but some crappy things happen to get in between their romance. Maxim is in Brazil, in hiding, from the evil Sorokin Bratva after killing two of the Don’s sons. I don’t want to give away too much but there’s a lot of action going on and in the eventual shootout Maxim finds his mom! WHAT! WHY! Max learns what it means to have the backing of family and the love of a good woman. “Bratva Bastard” keeps you interested in how things will play out from beginning to end. I loved the characters. Crissy is a great really caring lady and Maxim is a hunky guy who gets love and more in the end. I received a free advance copy of this story from Booksprout and this is my opinion. Linda
Nothing whets my appetite like a good Mafia romance. This one is delicious! Maxim was recently reunited with his brothers, also Bratva like him. He was at his best friend's wedding, when he spied one of the bridesmaids, who made quite the impression on him. When he encounters her on the plane to Brazil, and she is having terrible anxiety, he helps her, and over the 23 hour flight, he falls for her. She is the first woman he has felt like this for. Crissy was resigned to a boring life with a man she wasn't in love with, but Maxim showed her passion. Of course, situations kept cropping up to keep them apart. Some of them tear-jerking situations. The HEA was found after a really long and winding road. Delicious.
These characters are amazing. The tight knit Koslov family takes in their bastard brother and his girl without question. They are all ready for any situation a Bratva man could find himself in, and ready to lay their lives down for each other and their women. Well-written enough that I actually teared up a couple of times. While part of a series, this book may be read as a stand alone, although the series is so good that I recommend all of the books. Misty Winters has penned another winner, not to be missed, that is well worth the one click.

I loved reading this book it was enjoyable read, the storyline was mesmerising and the characters were sensational. This story was about Crissy and Maxium, Maxium didn't know he had step brothers until their mother went missing, he met his step brothers, once they believed who he was the oldest step brother said they would help. Maxium shot someone and caught up to him when his brothers had a meeting that's when everything changed drastically to keep the piece he has to marry the sister of the one he killed. Crissy met a guy on the plane trip home she had seen him at her best friends wedding, she seen him at her work he was staying at the hotel. Crissy broke it off from her boyfriend, she caught up with the guy and saved him, their chemistry was off the chart and they became inseparable until he had to go back to Russia. Crissy hadn't heard from him and kept calling and went to his sister-in-laws place to find out what's happening and slipped out a secret, she was kidnapped after that. Will these two find each other again and will the brothers find their mum.

I just love this series so much! This is book 4 of 5 in this series and told in first person POV by both the MMC and MFC. This will have you on the edge of your seat with the continuing question of “what happened to their mother?!?” As well as devouring all the sexual chemistry building between Crissy and Maxim, then you’ll be left fanning yourself after all of their hookups.
I loved that karma came back to bite Maxim and put him in the path of his forever love. I love that Crissy was so protective of Maxim and didn’t back down to protect him when things were difficult. I love that even though they had only known each other a short time, their magnetic pull and chemistry was something that couldn’t be ignored.
I loved all the characters of the Koslov books as well as all the side characters. I really loved the side characters in this book with all the feisty women and banter. I’m so excited to see what happens in the next book to get answers on the mystery these Koslov men call “mom” and what will happen next.

This book is downright entertaining, inventive, exciting, action packed with both adventure, danger, family, and love.

Until he learns he also has 3 brothers who are part of the Bratva and have been searching for their mother for years! This is an action packed adventure and there is acts of betrayal, secrets, lies, but it’s also filled with family and love. You will devour this book just like all Misty’s books and she leaves us with a dangling carrot so I’m hoping this isn’t the last time we’ll encounter these amazing Bratva men. Happy Reading!!!

And she happens to be who and what he clings to. Absolutely loved these two in their story. Had you mad with his choices, hurting for her when things went sideways. And pissed when he drug her into his mess of a life. Watching her fall apart a little at a time you felt her pain and wanted to hate him for what he was putting upon her. Grab a set and get ready for her emotional roll coaster and watching her lose to the battle of love.

The Last Brother! Yes! You heard correctly. This is the last brother in the Koslov brothers series featuring the last of the brothers. Maxim Chernoff is the last son of their mother Isabel Koslov who had a love affair after she escaped her tyrant husband. The books end on a shocking cliffhanger but the last book proves itself with the adventure and danger involving the Russian mafia. Although the boys: Mischa, Dimitry and Ivan have been looking for their long lost mother they are not surprised when asked to help find her. Surprised is that another male is their sibling. Toss in a wedding and brotherly bonding, Maxim had the life or so he thought until he met bridesmaid Cristiana “Crissy” Diaz. Their romance had a rough start but their chemistry sizzles. I love the interactions and how several close calls ended the way the author wrote it. There is no cliffhanger at the end of this story but it does have its happy ever after.

Rating 4.5 stars. Received as an ARC and leaving my honest review voluntarily. Fast paced story with some danger and suspense and since it's a mafia romance you can expect violence (but nothing too explicit) and mention of drug peddling. Not sure if it's in the trigger warning but the FMC's mother is in end stage cancer so may be sensitive for some readers.
With all the build up in chaos and mess, everything felt too quickly and easily resolved. I guess I was expecting more difficulty or blow back. Maxim and Chrissy's chemistry was steamy but they face quite a huge hurdle before finding their HEA. Loved the ending where the whole family is together. But it feels like a cliffhanger so no idea what's next for the brothers.
*Spoiler alert: there was cheating (infidelity) on the part of the FMC and I don't like that but it's a personal preference.

Honestly, I wasn’t fully hooked straight away but I sensed potential. I felt like there were times it felt a bit rushed and left me with some unanswered questions but I really did enjoy this story!! The second half was so jam packed and intense I even teared up a lil, definitely worth it :))
Maxim was not on my good list for the beginning. As most player tropes go, this one’s beginning was no different. But once he met Crissy, a woman who is strong, independent, beautiful, confident and doesn’t throw herself at him he becomes intrigued. I was a bit iffy with her character at the beginning but you can’t deny her huge heart and how selfless she is. Their relationship blossoms and threats are plotted but after fighting for each other, in the end they get their happily ever after.
I’m super excited to read more by this author because I seriously hope this is not the end!!
Thank you to Misty & Booksprout for a copy of this novel, this is my honest review.
Each book is better than the last. I loved Misha to pieces, then Dimitry stole my heart. Ivan had a special place with what they went through then Maxim made an unexpected appearance. While Maxim had his mom when the others did not, the others had each other. Maxim was closed off from everyone because he’d been alone so much, save his mom and his best friend. I’m so glad Maxim went looking for his brothers, because in doing so, he found Crissy and truly became a family with his brothers. There is just something g really really special about Maxim! I still want to know what the deal is with their mom though! It seems like the three boys accepted her back into their lives very easily, which surprised me.

Maxim's mother is missing and he wants nothing more than to find her. What he finds out is that he has three brothers he never knew about. He really does not want anything more from them then their help to find her. In the search for his mother, he is shot and sent to Brazil to stay with Dimitry and Gemma.
His brothers all have women in their lives and that is the last thing he wants. His down fall begins when he meets Crissy, they spend several weeks together before his called back home, promising to return. But the path in a mafia relationship is never smooth, there are complications on both side and Maxim starts ghosting her. Will they work it out? There are twists and turns on this rollercoaster ride.

I absolutely loved reading this book! The main characters Maxim and Crissy were wonderfully romantic. They had a few obstacles but made it to their happily ever after. It was great getting introduced to Maxim's brothers and their families. Each chapter offered something to grab my attention and kept me wanting more. At the very end Maxim's mother wanted to tell her story. I hope the author writes a sequel about it. I am curious and want to know what happened to her. Excellent read. I highly recommend it. You will not be disappointed.

Reasons I enjoyed reading this book: Action-packed Entertaining Page turner Romantic Unpredictable Witty
Crissy hates flying and is having a come apart when she is unable to find her Xanax. Maxim seeing a damsel in distress offers his 1st class seat, well the seat of his bodyguard actually. After he discovers that they were just in a wedding together, he is intrigued. Once back in Crissy’s home town, Maxim makes sure their paths keep crossing. Normally girls fall all over him but not this one. Why is she different? What should he do? How far is Maxim willing to go to keep seeing Crissy? Will she be receptive? What is the next step? Can they get something going? Does she want to? Get the book and find out. Intrigue, angst, danger, it's all in there. Enjoy the ride. I received an advanced copy for my honest opinion.
This book picks up where Bratva Prince left off. Maxim is an arrogant and dangerous playboy, a powerful bastard Bratva son. His mother goes missing, he discovers he has three brothers, he seeks their help in finding their mother and develops a brotherly bond with each of them. Crissy lives a dull life, working multiple jobs, caring for her terminally ill mother, staying in a loveless relationship. They are opposites in every way, but their chemistry is off the chart, so it doesn’t take long before they fall into bed together. The book is a bit of a wild ride, there are twists and turns, and there is some serious sexual tension. All in all, a good read.

A very good book but I recommend reading these in order so you don’t miss anything, Macon is looking for his mother that went missing and finds brothers he did not know he had. Well from the other books, that draws me in within itself bc I love the other guys! Maxim struggles finding his spot amongst them but they show him that they have his back. Crissy is dealing with her own family issues and is interested in Maxim until she see him leave with someone else. Needless to say, their paths cross again and things get even more interesting. Will they find his mother? Will they be able to solve her problems? Will they fall in love? That’s a lot of questions that you will need to read to get answers to! I did enjoy this book and can’t wait to see what is next.
This amazing plot is filled with lots of action, it's a page-turner and I loved the main characters Crissy and Maxim. It's a sweet love story with lots of mafia drama mixed in. Yet, it captivated me the most due to having a normal, sweet hardworking female, and when she meets this hot, badass guy the sparks between them flow everywhere. This love story is also very engaging and I did not stop to read it until the end. In my opinion, it is definitely worth it and I recommend it to everybody in this genre.
