Once again we are pulled right in to Emma and Raoul’s story and it does not disappoint! Emma has been kidnapped and is trying to find her way out while also trying to protect herself. Once Raoul finds out Emma has been kidnapped he stops at absolutely nothing to get her back. We really see them come together even more so in this one, as well as with their own chosen family and I love that. Such a great end to their story.

*sigh*

I cannot lie, I shed a tear. I am going to miss the Three Kings. I've loved all 15 books.

Vow was the culmination of everything that came before for all three brothers, it was beautiful, funny, dark, & emotionally demanding, I almost feel like I need to go back and reread it because I wanted to KNOW so BADLY that they ALL got their happy ending that I kind of blazed through it.

The thing is, everyone is capable of amends and redemption. You just have to be willing to do the work, make the necessary changes. You can't do it for someone else, even though that person may be the instigator for the changes, you have to do it because you want it. Vow is where we see the growth in each of these couples, and most recently Raoul and Emma.

If ever there was a couple created for each other it is Emma and Raoul, everything they have gone through, before and during their marriage, brought them right to their HEA. (not that Emma won't still be a brat and Raoul won't still spank her, that's to be expected, yah?!?!).

In every single one of my reviews of Mya's work, I've touched on her writing style, world building, character creation, dialogue style, the consistency and coherency of storylines and character behavior. Vow is closure, I almost thought I'd see "AND THEY ALL LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER, THE END" but this is the Caraldis we're talking about. :)

I officially own all 15 books, and I am so glad I do. Next rainy day, (I'm in the PNW), I'll be re-reading them from start to finish to see what little nuggets I may have missed.

(spoiler) Mother F***er Parker the Blood Shadow!?!?!?!?! Please tell me we're getting his story? Please make him a silver fox at least. And might it be time for Tommy to find a 2nd wife? Also I feel like the Russian who helped Edourdo wasn't caught, so maybe?

The finale to this series and to the whole Brutal Kings series. What a way to finish it.
Last book ended on Emma being kidnapped.. Nothing is easy being part of the Caraldi family.

Raoul cones home to find the baby scan pics, realising he is going to be a father but Emma is missing. All hell breaks lose and he is on one to get his woman and future home.

Eventually he finds out which one of his enemy is behind it.
I loved seeing his love for her pour out through the pages and his actions.
Emma is a fighter and her filthy swearing mouth has not been dimmed by this kidnap.

The biggest surprise was to learn about the gentle sweet Parker. What a guy haha.
I also loved seeing Raoul grow so much as person. How the thought of being a father has softened his heart, although he still loves and protects his loved ones fiercely.

Emma and Raoul both have filthy mouth but are so funny every time they swear. They really try not to, incase the baby hears them in her tummy. It was the cutest and funniest parts haha.

The ending was absolutely perfect!! All 3 brothers got their HEA.
I'm going to miss these burly men and their spitfire wives. Guess they are all going in my TBR again list.

Mya writes her books with so much action, drama, violence, Suspense, emotional characters and sizzling heat. It's just a perfect Mafia series.

Go get yourself a copy of the series xx

A great short story that culminates the perfect ending to Emma and Raoul's story. I've really enjoyed the characters in this series and can honestly say I am sorry to see it end considering the number of books I have either purchased or got through KU, that I have deleted or returned before I reached 50% since the beginning of the year. Ms. Grey knows how to successfully write a good series, with solid characters and a storyline that keeps the reader wanting more from her characters and her books. This book got buried in my library never finishing it in 2023. I reread the entire story in a few hours and was so pleased that I did.

Brutal Kings was a well done series with enemies thrown together through arranged marriages, such as Emma and Raoul, revenge tropes etc., that was well written with realistic characters who at times lost they way, only to come back stronger. The women in these stories including Emma were strong, independent women who gave as much as they got and could hold their own when it came to the men in this series.

This story truly brought the series full circle. Eduardo finally gets what he so deserves and the Russians get their due by books end. I loved how these hard nosed/criminal men with criminal underworld ties developed into such good characters.

Perfect ending to a remarkable series

I have been glued to my Kindle since this series began last year. Mya Grey created a ruthless world where you root that the bad guys turn out to be good men after all.

Raoul is one of those men. When you read about him in the first two parts of this series, you hate him. With a passion. Maybe it's that passion that makes you fall in love with him in his own section of books.

Emma, his wife, is an Irish Mafia princess kidnapped by Raoul's ruthless uncle. Oh, and she's pregnant. Love the way she holds her stomach and apologizes to her "Baby" throughout the kidnapping ordeal.

But it is the rescue where you see Raoul and Emma's true love. Plus, her father and Parker (a man you meet in the first book) are bad asses when it comes to the rescue.

Emma waiting to give birth during Nikki & Dario's wedding is hilarious and heartwarming. This story is incredible from start to finish. Read the whole series. You will love the action, adventure, and dark romances that make a wonderful Mya Grey novel come alive. I'm so sad this series is over. It has been incredible to go on this journey with Mya and he world she has created!!

Vow is the final book, It continues on from the last book when Emma was kidnapped and Raoul finds out he’s going to be a father. Emma and Raoul are a power couple and will do anything to protect those that they love and they love fiercely, a couple made for each other. With the help of Emma’s father and Parker( wow Parker, who knew? He certainly surprised me) their ordeal ended with the demise of Raouls crazy uncle. Everything was wrapped up nicely and it was amazing to read the hea for all 3 brothers. The wedding scene is one that will stay with me for a long time. Although these men are mafia, when it comes to their women they are teddy bears! theres violence and drama in these 15 books but there’s also humour, protectiveness and everlasting love and plenty of heat 🥵I adored them all, I cried and laughed with them and will for sure miss them. Fitting ending with a new generation of Caraldi babies. Mya, I applaud you your books have been captivating and kindle burning. So thank you, I can’t wait for whatever you have next for us. Sad that this series has ended but keen to see what’s next.

After a one night stand with Raoul, who rescued her from Russian kidnappers, Emma finds herself pregnant. She later finds out he is Raoul Caraldi , Italian mafia, and we learn Emma is the Irish mob boss’s daughter. Raoul forces Emma to be his wife, not knowing of the pregnancy. She’s afraid to tell him. Heads were butting in the earlier books as she was forced to adapt to life with him, but time changes them. We find that they both really care for each other. So, in the last book when Emma is kidnapped and Raoul finds the ultrasound picture of his baby, he is out for blood. Unfortunately, it’s his own family trying to take him down. I loved seeing their relationship evolve from two separate head strong people of different backgrounds forced to be together and then there’s a turn and they are both truly drawn to each other. I enjoyed the entire series. I received an ARC copy from the author and this is my honest review.

I think this is my favorite couple out of this series (of course I thought the same while reading the previous books). Raoul has been the playboy seeking the approval from his brothers he never got from his sperm donor and he met his match in a not so meet cute. Both had been kidnapped by the Bratva him of ransom and her for human trafficking. Emma aka Buttercup is a little spitfire with a foul Irish mouth. Raoul bought his and her way out and ended their experience with a one night stand. She left with a little gift. Raoul ends up winning her from her Irish Mafia Leader father and the fun begins. There is danger from so many people they don’t know where the hits are coming from. I loved how this couple grew up through their trials. They both had chips on their shoulders from horrible childhoods that had them overcompensating. There are lots of twist and turns I didn’t expect and I loved them all. This was a great series and it’s one I’ll definitely be rereading.

This is the last book of Brutal Kings III, the fifteenth book of the series. I recommend the full series so you can understand all of the main characters and the family dynamic, but now let's get to "VOW".

Having followed Raoul and Emma's story from the beginning, it is good to see soulmates find a happy ending. Raoul matures and Emma proves to be strong throughout this series.

I would have preferred a little more drama to the last book reuniting our couple, but I guess you can't get everything in serialized stories.

Mya did very well in keeping you wanting to read the next book but I recommend waiting for the series as a whole instead of purchasing each individual book, if at all possible, so you don't interrupt the flow of the story. (Luckily I received this last group as ARC.)

I rate this book closer to 4.5 stars than the 5 stars as noted above.

This is the last book in the series about Raoul and Emma and it does not disappoint. Both are such strong characters that you can't help but rout for them. There is lots of action and a couple of twists.
Emma is so strong throughout everything that is thrown at her. She just keeps fighting. We also get to see a different side of Raoul which we always knew was there just never surfaced. I also liked that the author took the time to wrap up the series with the other characters, so you are not left hanging and wondering if all went well or not. This was a good read from beginning to end. Mya hooks you and keeps you reading to the last page.

I voluntarily wrote this review from reading an advanced copy of this book.

Raoul calls his father in law, Tommy McErlane, to help save Emma. They figure out that Eduardo, Raoul’s uncle, has Emma. Eduardo and the Russians want Raoul and Tommy to come to save Emma so they can take both men and their teams out at one time.

What does Eduardo want from Raoul? Who is the surprise assassin that works for Tommy? Will they get Emma back safely? Will Emma and the baby be okay?

I loved the ending and how everything got wrapped up. I was glad there was a chat where Nikki and Andy summarized their relationships with Dario and Mateo for Emma and the readers. It gave us just enough information in case someone wants to go back and start the Brutal Kings series from the beginning.

I was lucky enough to read all the books from the beginning.

Holy Moly!!

I can’t believe it’s been 15 books in this series! I loved the series. From Dario & Nikki, Mateo & Andy and Raoul & Emma. I would have never thought that Raoul would settle down, Mr wild party dude? Not in this lifetime. He finally met his match in Emma. What a fierce ball of fire! That woman is one badass, with a good heart. She takes no poop off anyone and can fend for herself. She and Raoul were meant to be together, I mean how else can you explain how they met?! There is one twist that made me spit tea and use a bad word I’m still shaking my head. We learned all the other babies names, I wish we could have known Baby Caraldi’s name. Minor in the scheme of things. Good series and a good read.

What  a great ending to a fricken fabulous series! It gave me everything I wanted and even gave me a bit more than I expected.  Emma and Raoul are both such fierce characters right to the last page. They both are hard core to the bone and will do anything for one another. And I loved how Mya wrapped the whole series up. It was perfect. I love how she didn't just say everything was perfect, and they all lived HEA. No, she added real life situations that made it that much better. I love when authors do that! Don't worry, they all get there HEA. Mya, thank you taking us on this crazy wonderful journey with all of these amazing characters. This is definitely a series I will re-read.

family

Vow is book five in the third part of the series Brutal Kings by author Mya Grey. WOW just WOW. So this one starts off where book four left off. A daring rescue - a bit of surprise (damn Parker)- lots of loving. So Nikki and Andy have their bundles of joy and life is great. Emma is back where she belongs, she’s a bad@$$. All these macho males are seriously pussycats with a side of violence. Got love that- touch her die vibe.
Anywho, this is kinda bittersweet, it’s last book in the series- one I’ve going to love. I’m going to miss these characters- loved the laughs, the spiciness and the spirit. Good thing is I can start all over when I feel the need.
Enjoy!!

MUST READ

The entire series has taken me on an AMAZING ride with the Caraldi Brothers. It has everything you want in a series….suspense, laughter, love and an unbreakable family loyalty. Each set takes you on an incredible journey starting with Dario, Mateo and ending with the youngest brother Raoul.

As soon as I finished one book I jumped straight into the next…it was that good!!! If you enjoy reading books that has everything you could possibly want then I STRONGLY RECOMMEND you start reading. You won’t be disappointed.

worthy

I started reading this book a while back and with each character I have fallen in love with one chapter at a time. I did have a bit of mixed feelings with Andy and Mateos story because of Andy’s reckless behavior. Again, each and every character were presented with human flaws and stupidity. Their love prevailed in the end with the most beautiful blended family amongst the trio of brothers, wives and their children. Mya grey took us on a journey with tears, brotherhood, deception and lies and in the end it all came together.

Mya Grey has done it again. I could not put the book down. To see Rauol reaction when he learns he is going to be a father and realizing Emma has been kidnapped was a site to see. The series shows how a person who has done not so good things and has a mean streak in them, can find the one person that will bring them back to the good side. The love the three couples displayed is off the charts. I cannot wait for the next series to begin.

This book is such an outstanding ending to the series. I loved how bad Emma is, her instincts are so spot on. Raoul will stop at nothing to keep her safe. I loved how the obstacles and complex issues were handled. I loved how the characters all come together and are there for each other. I loved all the danger, twists, passion and surprises. So many awesome characters who will keep you riveted with their lives.

Such a great series.😀😋😍

I have been following this series since the first book. The men are so hot, strong, protective, and faithful. The women are the perfect match for each brother. I will say that I Raul, and Emma are my absolute favorites. She is an Irish Hellcat, and she is so perfect with her big Italian husband. Together they set the stories on fire. I absolutely recommend this series.

Strong , Hard in more ways than 1 men . Only need their women.

Great again , none stop action and tense times. Add to that fun and games amongst family growing in what it means to love . Throw in some nasties and you have a great story. One you can't put down because you become immersed in it all with them. That's what great writing does . Best time ever relaxing with Mya Grey stories .

A bad boy and a good girl.

I love this book. Emma is good girl and she is married to an Alpha Male. She is pregnant but hasn’t told her husband because he doesn’t want any. She finally decides she should tell him. Emma boxes up an ultrasound picture as a surprise for when he gets home. When Raoul does get home, the house is empty. You’ll have to read this amazing story to find out what has happened. It really is worth reading!!!!!

As a life-changing secret is revealed...

Raoul must save Emma. The suspense ratchets up as alliances have solidified and violence abounds. Emma and Raoul's passionate love story has really evolved since their first encounter and I've enjoyed every step! And what a perfect conclusion to this last book and this entire series. You must definitely read this series from the beginning, starting with Owned.

I thought I'd die at the end of the last book, but this one is going to kill me for sure Emma sweet sweet Emma. There's so many things I've loved in this series the intense moments, steamy passion and everything you can imagine under the sun that the mafia ( Brutal Kings) is involved in. So worth every minute of your time you'll spend reading these books.

Vow was the perfect ending for Raoul and Emma's story. Mya didn't disappoint me with this beautiful, action packed, and loving ending. This series is just as enthralling and exciting as the other Brutal Kings' series, Dario and Nikki, and Matteo and Andy's stories. I highly recommend these series. Great writing Mya!

a great mix!!!

Every mafioso series has to bring a mix of love, danger, and family dysfunction. It reaches a level of greatness when the series reaches a level of affection as it does with peril. Then she threw in a great deal of humor. This is a fantastic series. Loved the whole thing!!! The sizzle was off the charts in all three series. A great read!!

Amazing!

I loved the entire series, all 15 books. Each story set was its own with that one despicable fathers connection as well as absolutely great alpha men. They were all great, Raoul, and Emma's story was my favorite. Also, I love that they are now boxsets, great way to read.
Great writing, Mya Grey!
