Ryan Lane was the only boy who saw me. Significantly older, wiser, and a full-on alpha male; he reached beneath the surface and smashed away my barriers. This was more than a crush; this was real, raw, and terrifying. He was the one I wanted.
Regret noun a feeling of sadness, repentance, or disappointment over an occurrence or something that one has done or failed to do.
Life in rural Yorkshire, where boys will be boys; rough, determined, and as untamed as the land.
Two alpha male brothers are in love with the same girl. Filthy rich, ruthless, and driven with the same need to possess her.
Feeling branded by one mistake, will Ella be able to put the past behind her and follow her heart?
At almost nineteen years of age, awkward teenager Ella Wade is uncomfortable in her own skin, feels insecure most days, and is severely out of her depth. Using humour as a coping mechanism, Ella longs to break away from that label of being ‘one of the boys’, and unleash her feminine side; a part of herself she has kept hidden.
Until him…
Ryan Lane is her everything; tall, dark, demanding; that one boy she wants above all the rest.
One mistake from her past now threatens to challenge her future.
Will Ella be able to fight for what she wants and leave behind her regrets?
REGRETS CAN BE READ AS A STAND-ALONE BOOK, OR AS PART OF A SERIES.
Love in Yorkshire Series
BOOK ONE, Perfect (Connor and Harlow's Story) BOOK TWO, Regrets (Ryan and Ella's Story) BOOK THREE, Fierce (Noah and Lucy's Story)
Loved it! Really enjoyed Ella's story. Preferred it to the first book. More detailed with twists and turns. Plus the crew from Perfect appears in this one also, (Connor is still smoking hot - I love him). Ella's dry wit is excellent and the chemistry between her and Ryan is buzzing.
Love triangle, fit farm boys, secrets, brother-on-brother angst, jealousy, sexual chemistry, bully boy behavior, fights, what's not to like?
This book is also set around the same time as the first and so you get the same timeline as in Perfect but from other people's perspectives (i.e. the nightclub scene and Connor's fight with his dad).
Well written and easy to read. Lines up the plot for the third story which is due out in Summer. Binged this in around three days. Looking forward to Noah and Lucy's story. Noah sounds well fit! The biggest alpha of them all I'd say! YES PLEASE!
Well, the author did not disappoint with the second in the series. For me it just gets better. No spoilers but how the author has managed to parallel her writing and interweave Regrets with Perfect just made it all the more interesting. There was passion, emotion, action and sexy times all brought together through the contemporary romance. The balance is just right. I honestly think I’m a convert to the genre, or just a M J Tennant fan. Either way begging for the next book please !
