What a great way to reconnect with your partner! This actually has more than 365 questions that you can ask one another, and they touch on a variety of subjects. My spouse and I have been discussing some of these, and the questions really do lead to meaningful conversations. I encourage couples to try this book out, even if you’re in a good place with your relationship. It can only get better!

So, I'm a bit of a sucker for when the publisher reaches out to me directly so I picked it up without my usual pre-vetting. Turns out the authors are considerably less progressive than I would usually be choosing to read. That might be why I ended up skimming the whole opening section which kind of oversimplifies a fix to a problem marriage. Yes connection is important but it's not everything even if I do see the value in question asking so I was happy to skip ahead to the actual questions. It's set up as one question a day, starting on January 1. I actually read through all the questions, including some bonus questions at the end for couples with children and about faith. In the end the questions are solid and worthwhile. While I might not do a question a day, I'd definitely pull this up on my phone for long drives or maybe some date nights.

This is a wonderful book with meaningful questions for couples. There is a question for every day of the year.
The questions have not a yes-or-no answer.
For instance, today’s question is “In your opinion, what qualities does a healthy marriage have?”.
At the end of the book, you cand find bonus questions on parenting amd faith.
The book is suitable for all couples!

It’s no secret that my marriage is the most important and special thing in my entire life. My husband and I are always looking for ways to stay connected as a couple and learn more about one other.

365 Connecting Questions for Couples was a great way for us to do both of those things!

This amazing book has unique questions to ask your spouse for every day of the year. The questions are meaningful, fun, and interesting.

I definitely appreciated the beginning pages with instructions on the different ways a couple can utilize the questions, a breakdown of the different types of questions, and tips for making the most out of this book!

365 Connecting Questions for Couples would make a great gift for your partner, friends, family members, and/or coworkers. We can’t wait to continue reading it well into 2025 as we further our journey to strengthen the foundations of our marriage.

If you’re looking for new ways to connect with your partner, this book is it! There’s a lot of different ways to use it, but my husband and I like to do one question a day. Each calendar day is assigned a question, so it’s easy to remember what questions you’ve done and which ones you haven’t. We will read the question in the morning then spend the day thinking about our answer while we are at work. When we get home we talk about our answers over dinner. Sometimes the questions are thought provoking and other times they are simple, which offers a good change of pace. We aren’t big talkers, so this book has been helpful when engaging in conversation and prompting us to ask questions we never thought to ask.

These questions are a great resource that can be used to grow a better connection with your partner. We are so easily swept into the routine of our lives and it’s necessary to take a pause and intentionally connect with one another. I really appreciated the author’s introduction note at the beginning of the book sharing her personal experience using this approach in her marriage. The questions range in many different categories from light-hearted to some with more depth.

What a delightful and inspirational book for couples! It is surprisingly simple but has the potential to influence profound effects. A singular question for every day of the year. Categories included are boundaries, childhood, communication, conflict and repair, friendship and romance, holidays and celebrations, just for fun, money, mental health, self-discovery, sex and intimacy, roles, career, and household chores, and two bonus sections for parents and faith and spirituality. I really appreciate the intro and the background behind this. Yes, these are just questions, but there are responsible and safe ways to ask (and answer) questions and create a safe space for these conversations. If your partner won’t read or engage the questions, there’s great tips for that too. Wherever you are in your relationship, this is an excellent tool to start conversation, engage your partner, and foster intimacy and growth.

The book contains one question per day for couples to read together and answer. We’re still reading through it but I wanted to my review since it’ll take a full year to read the book/questions through.
The questions range from funny to deep, are short, and very impactful as well as great conversation starters. I highly recommend this book as a way to connect with your spouse, no matter how long you’ve been together.
