I Like Lights

Rate this book
Join Rowan as he visits the home store to shop for a new fan and light for his home.

This book can be enjoyed by any child but is particularly suited for children on the autism spectrum. It is well known that light affects these children in unique ways. In some cases, they are transfixed with turning lights on and off. Additionally, spinning fans can draw attention. In this book, Rowan learns about the different lights around him when his father installs a new ceiling fan.

This book has simple, uncluttered illustrations to draw attention only to the main point of each page. You will read about five types of lights found in most homes. This will give the reader some language with which you can converse with the child about lights.
