I continue to be impressed with this series, #2 moves the plot along well and puts al the players nicely in position for what looks to be a great finale. It is also an improvement on #1 in every way almost as if the author is now really getting a feel for his characters. This will be a short review as I really don't want to give away anything that will spoil your enjoyment of this book but I will say look forward to Sarah stepping up to the plate and coming of age. I cant wait to get going on #3
Finally the second book came out i loved the first and when this came out i was so so happy. This book is an amazing book the story line was great and the characters are awesome
Six children survived a potentialy lethal virus attack on earth and developed superpowers as a result. Many adults wished to harness these powers for their own benefit but in order to do so had to capture or befriend the children. The adults that tried various tactics ranged from government officials , a russian billionaire and a mad general. In a desperate attempt to keep all the children safe one of the strongest characters, sarah takes on the role of mother and minder. The children are lured into a false sense of security for a while but sarah's alertness and her ability to judge the various characters result in their powers being pitted against their very strong adversary, whose robots ( dogs)are deadly. Good however triumphs over evil with the help of a minor and his lovable robot. This novel was exxciting and remianed so throughout. It strong characters were of both genders which give it a wide appeal. The author had the ability to give some of the robots human qualities which was quite endearing.
This is not normally my choice of book but it was a great story line ,plenty of acrion with the sci-fi input of the super powers.
I really enjoyed this book, except I didn't realise this was the second book in the series so I have some unanswered questions but I did still enjoy it none-the-less
