Song to go with: “Civil War” by Henry Jackman
Vibes: Action, found family, politics, grief, on the run, fast paced, trauma, witches, superheroes, middle grade, world war, science experiment, movie to books, legacy, super natural, secret agency, soldiers, new take on a classic, deep, reflective, perspective, characters that feel real, intense, thrilling, weight of the world on their shoulders, comic book, spy stuff, epic, work politics, rag-tag group of heroes
Review: I will consume this story in any form they give me, novels, movies, comic books. I’ve said it before but this story is so rich because we are looking at heroes questioning whats right in a scenario that is purely grey. You empathise with both sides, you acknowledge both sides, you contest both sides. It’s just so resonant and real.
