Predators and Prey

Rate this book

Trophy killing for sport? Trent Corbett finally had enough of seeing Facebook posts showing African big game hunters, their long range rifles in hand, kneeling proudly by their kill. The outraged comments below the photos were not enough. It was time for him to do something about it. His solution? Hunt the hunters. Kill them in their own neighborhoods, just like the hunters kill lions, elephants, leopard, buffalo and rhinoceros in theirs. Soon local police discover they have a serial killer on their hands. Led by Police Chief Avery Johnson, small town police forces unite in an effort to stop the man who calls himself the Predator's Predator before his death count rises further.

I'm not a fan of killing for sport so it was good to see the tables turned on trophy hunters and that's what this novel is about.

Trent was tired of seeing these hunters proudly posting selfies on social media of their kill in their natural habitat and decided to do something about it. He's labeled the "Predator's Predator" when he makes these hunters his prey and kills them in their "natural habitats" (ie their neighourhoods). As Trent is in the process of righting these wrongs, he meets and falls in love with a woman and he must hide his secret life.

Despite being a killer (and killing is wrong), I couldn't help but cheer Trent on. As a head's up, there is swearing and violence.
