Rate this book
This book produce how to use warming nutrient film technique system (NFT) to improve yield quantity and quality of snap bean plants grown in winter by heating greenhouse air or nutrient solution in nutrient film technique (NFT) compared with soil. Snap Bean is an important summer crop in Egypt for local consumption as well as for export. This crop is grown in the open field in two main seasons; i.e. spring and autumn. Root zone warming is more specific to soilless cultivation methods, and especially applicable to the nutrient film technique (NFT). On the other hand NFT system could be a suitable system for the production of snap bean in winter without the need of soil fumigation and soil heating.
